Don't judge this book by it's cover. The place is a work in progress; not so pretty on the outside yet, but definitely pretty on the inside!
Private lower level walk-out has its own entrance which opens to almost half acre lot shaded with grand old oak trees. Note that the entrance is at the rear of the house which is a sloping lot and will require walking across the yard to get to the entrance, so it’s a bit rustic (not suitable for those with balance issues).
The place has lots of windows for a basement , natural light. Quiet residential neighborhood. The location is 1 mile to Neosho’s downtown square, a couple blocks from Neosho high school, and 3 miles from Crowder college and the YMCA. Central to parks, tennis, and local culture.
Guests from all backgrounds are welcome! My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, small families, and furry friends (pets must be pre-approved).
This studio apartment has a queen size bed, walk-in closet, separate linen closet, large bathroom, full kitchen, and was completely renovated in 2017. Brand new electrical, plumbing, insulation, windows, paint, etc. Fast WiFi for internet access, antennae TV for local channels.
Allergy friendly wood plank tile flooring. Brand new bathroom features walk-in spa-like shower. Central heat/air conditioning. Also gets a nice cross breeze through open windows if you prefer fresh air. Single level living, lots of natural light through large windows, and very private.
The exposed brick walls hint at that New York loft feel. The basement walls and ceilings are fully insulated for weatherproofing and sound-proofing. Your privacy and my privacy are important! I will leave you alone, but am completely available for guidance when wanted. As a local realtor, I am easy to reach if you need me.
You will have a private entrance at the back of the house, with a key located in the lockbox. Although I live upstairs in the main house, nobody will bother you or share your space. The lower-level walkout apartment is for you to use as your own. The full kitchen, with full-size appliances is ready for you to use as little or as much as you desire. This home is located in walking distance of supermarkets and convenience stores should you wish to cook.
Inter-action with guests:
I live upstairs with my big sweet dog and big sweet cat. Both are very friendly with other animals, adults, and children. If you need me, call or text, or walk to the front of the house and knock on the door. I'm happy to help if wanted! As a native American, I speak English, but I understand and speak a little bit of French and Spanish, and even less Italian. But I will try!! Translation aps helps!
Other things to note:
Motorcycle friendly home! I ride street bikes and grew up racing dirt bikes in Southern California.
I'm a non-smoker and prefer non-smoking guests. However, if you must smoke, just tell me and I can make arrangements for you to smoke outside only. I insist you refrain from leaving cigarettes/cigars on the ground. I will provide you with an ashtray to us use instead. Absolutely no smoking indoors under any circumstance, regardless of weather conditions.
If you travel with a pet, you must provide proof of current vaccinations/health prior to arriving.
If you have an aversion to pets, let me know in advance and I will ensure my dog is kept in a pen away from your entrance. The cat wanders outside where he pleases, so keep the door shut if you don't want him to visit you ( although it's unlikely he would visit, as he is shy around people he doesn't know ).
Public tennis courts are located 3 blocks away at the south end of Neosho High School and are lighted in the evenings.
Use the gym at the local YMCA which is located at the Crowder College Campus, 3.8 miles.
Walk or drive to the heart of Neosho's charming Downtown Square, which is only 1.3 miles.

Taxi's, Uber, and rental cars are the best sources of transportation, as public transportation is limited. If you're riding a motorcycle, I will arrange for you to park in my driveway, at the front of the house if you prefer.
