Great week in Eastham
Great location and 3season porch and deck! Comfortable getaway at the Cape
Great family-friendly spot in Eastham
We had a wonderful week in Eastham and the house made our stay comfortable and easy. The owners recently added a screened-in porch off the back, which was lovely - we ate almost all of our meals out there and enjoyed sitting in the fresh air (bug-free!) at night after our kids went to bed. Our daughters loved the bunk bed room, and the pack and play we found in one of the closets came in handy for when our 2-year-old decided she wasn't ready for the freedom that came with being out of a crib yet. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and we especially appreciated the selection of kids' books and games which kept our kiddos entertained. The location enabled us to enjoy both ocean-side and bay-side beaches; we also spent a lot of time swimming at Wiley Park and enjoying the playground at the nearby elementary school. Overall, this house was perfect for our needs and felt like a great find. We definitely hope to be back!
Clean, awesome porch and outdoor shower.
First home rental
Relaxing, clean, home.
Our kids were so surprised about the out door shower, my wife was adding to her honey do list once the covered & screened in porch came into view.
We had a great time exploring a section of the national sea shore along with the kids favorite Skaket beach trips- , plenty of ice cream, and happy- sleepy kids.
The photos don’t show a new composite deck and screened in porch with beautiful flooring and furniture.
Respectfully we had slight concern for the baseball team on display- !! ( our children were quick to spot that)
Thank you for a great home-
Take a quick bike ride along the National Seashore bike path to Coast Guard Beach and enjoy the sun and surf under the watchful eye of a national park lifeguard. Walk up the beach a few hundred yards and try your hand at surf fishing. Head to Nauset Light Beach (only 1/2 mile past Coast Guard Beach) and explore the 120-year-old lighthouse. Take a day to explore the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor's Center and Minister Pond, only a short walk from your front step. If the spacious backyard does not provide enough space, walk down the sandy lane to the elementary school fields and enjoy a game of catch. After a long day relax on your spacious deck and enjoy a cookout on the gas grill, or maybe just a long hot outdoor shower and a quiet evening will be plenty. If cooking does not sound like a vacation, take a 1/4-mile drive up Route 6 and enjoy the numerous restaurants.
