Perfect for theatre and romantic breaks, and close to the Pier and Royal Pavilion, theatres, and shopping in the Lanes.

Sleeping up to 4 people, the 2-bedroom property is full of period features included a full length balcony accessed through floor to ceiling French windows. Fantastic spot to look out to sea or watch the world go by and enjoy a cup of coffee at the bistro style table and chairs. Amazing relaxing feel the minute we step in the door. Sitting on the balcony and watching the world go by. Walking out of the door and into Kemptown village for provisions, or walking down to the seafront for a picnic with a bottle of wine. It's perfect!

We stayed here for the weekend while down at a festival, and couldn't fault a single thing with the apartment. Stunning apartment in an ideal location. The weather was perfect so we got a stunning view from the balcony each morning. Would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely Apartment in Kemptown,Brighton.

On walking in we all said how lovely,cosy and well furnished the apartment was,clean light,a view of the sea from the balcony all needs catered for,we noticed a breakage and shortage of an item called customer services and all was sorted the following morning impressed.

Location was perfect,bus services are great and get the Brighton&Hove app on your mobile purchase a ticket for the whole of your stay and just show it the driver each ride,cheaper than individual tickets. We visited "The Plotting Palour " near to The Pier,a cocktail bar,unique decor and extensive cocktail menu,you must book a table as you should also do for "Ole Ole" a Spainish restaurant in the South Lanes,tapas yummy! Live Flamenco lovely staff,fab night.The lanes were great lots to view the pier etc we have to revisit to see more but you could stay in Kemptown as it was so so nice ,little shops bars cafes,restaurants got it all plus I am impressed by the apartment fixtures and fittings ,bed linen well you just curl up and sleep! "Where do the duvets come from ???"

All in all fab,book it and the deposit returned very quickly ,we will be booking again .

Great find

Spent 3 lovely days staying at this apt and couldn't have wished for more. The apt is lovely and spacious with great views of the sea from the balcony. The beds had lovely bedding on them and were extremely comfortable, sofa bed not quiet as comfy but owners are aware of this so hopefully this won't be the case for long! We paid extra to have 3 days worth of parking permits and well worth doing, managed to park outside the apt each day.

There is a little coop just around the corner so perfect for getting provisions.

We would definitely stay here again if visiting Brighton.

great location and lovely apartment!

We had a great weekend.. group of friends enjoying a birthday weekend. The beds were very comfortable although the bed settee not so much. beautifully decorated and furnished, just our cup of tea! a couple of small things that we spoke to the managment company about- not enough towels, when you have 3 women staying for 3 nights, 3 small bath towels and 2 hand towels is not enough, also only 1 loo roll, 1 bin bag and 1 tea towel again not enough we bought extra loo paper but the managment company bought extra bin bags and tea towel ( also spare set of keys which had been missing on arrival) when requested.

Overall we were very happy and greatly enjoyed our stay, would be very happy to stay at the apartment again.

Lovely apartment and well located

We had a lovely few days. The apartment was really well equipped and very comfortable. Picking up keys was easy and everything in the place worked. It is also well located - not in the centre of town but a nice 10-15 minute walk along the beach or through Kemp Town. Lots of places to eat and well serviced with coffee shops and bakeries etc. We would stay here again and recommend it.

Best rental in Brighton so far

This has been our third vacation rental in the Brighton area and out of the three this has been the top one.

Great communication with the owners and with property management.

Hassle free check-in and check-out, online payment available.

The unit is well kept and clean and simply has everything as advertised, great views from the balcony included.

If you are using your own vehicle, getting parking permits from the owners is highly recommended.

Although even with a parking permit it can be a challenge to find a spot close by.

Thanks again and we will certainly book this unit again in the future.

Comfortable flat in Brighton.

This flat was very comfortable for the three weeks we stayed. Loved the morning sunlight we got through the large windows whilst having our breakfast. The view was lovely from the balcony, pity it was always too cold. There was always hot water in the shower and this is a must for myself and my family. The kitchen needed up dating and some of the pans were wore out and too old. The central heating worked really well throughout the flat except in the bedrooms, especially the main bedroom. There was a small electrical heater in the main bedroom but this was not enough. I did mention this to the people in charge and they informed me that a plumber would come to check, but they never did. Also the flat is too far from the Centre. There are nice shops around, but I would have rather been closer to the Centre. Also the cleaners only came once and because I inquired. They changed the towels and didn't do much. I would have thought that for a stay as long as we stayed we should have had our towels changed more often. I hope all of this information helps.

Owner's Response: Dear Guests, Many thanks for your review, and for giving us the opportunity to respond to your comments. February this year was definitely a very cold month to visit the UK from the warmer climes you come from. As you said the apartment is warm and there is always plenty of hot water, but I am very sorry you had the problem with the bedroom heating. Our property manager did act promptly and despatched a heating engineer, who rebalanced and checked the heating and we received an invoice for this work, but perhaps they attended the property whilst you were out, to avoid disruption for you. With regard to the mid stay clean, unfortunately the property management company did make a mix up with this and it was a couple of days late. We have addressed this problem for future guests, so thank you very much for raising it, it was not acceptable. The kitchen pans are only a couple of years old but we have taken on board your comments and will replace them if you feel this is not acceptable. It is important to us that our guests feel they are receiving a quality service. Finally you mentioned the location of the apartment. Most of our guests choose Portland Place because it is in a prestigious neighbourhood of Brighton and whilst only a 15 minute stroll or 2 minute taxi ride from the centre, it is away from the noisy late night revelry of Stag and Hen parties which can go on till the early hours nearer to the centre, and which can be disruptive to many especially families. Once again thank you very much for taking the time to review our holiday apartment, whilst we can’t change the location we can certainly attend to the other issues for future guests.
