Had a wonderful time. The cottage is within walking distance of so many restaurants! Harriett is a lovely host.
Fantastic Bungalow - Perfect Location
My son and I had an incredible stay in this perfectly situated bungalow; accessible to anything and everything in Charleston.
Echoing the sentiment of many others who wrote reviews, Harriet was absolutely wonderful and had some great insight to activities for us during our short stay. Concerned that our beach time would get rained out, she'd made suggestions for alternative plans (like the Aquarium) that was a hit with my little man. Being so close, we also managed to get the beach and several parks in as well when the clouds broke that afternoon.
Loved it - Highly recommend!!!
Place is very clean and cozy close to all the action. HARRIET IS SUPER COOL!!
Lovely spot, walking distance to a great restaurant and art gallery.
Harriet was a very gracious host and we enjoyed exploring the old village and the coast.
Great location for taking it easy and relaxing.
Adorable cottage in the perfect location!
We visited for four nights, and had a wonderful time! The cottage is in such a quaint, gorgeous neighborhood with local restaurants and shops nearby. The location couldn't be more perfect for someone looking to explore the beaches and the city - 15 minutes to Charleston, Isle of Palms, and even closer to Sullivan's Island. The bed and linens are comfy and the cottage is nicely decorated, makes for a very relaxing feel to your stay. Just a few pieces of advice - if you need a dark room to sleep, make sure to bring an eye mask since the rooms are bright and airy. And, we didn't realize that the cottage didn't have an oven or stovetop (even though these items were not mentioned as being in the cottage in the description), so cooking a dinner would be tough. But, there are plenty of restaurants closeby to make up for it! Thanks again for the hospitality, Harriet!
Just so others reading this are clear about what is available:
There is a toaster oven on the "kitchen strip" counter top.
There is also an electric eye and a microwave.
There is a refrigerator in the cottage
The cottage is not advertised as having a full kitchen.
Lots of restaurants and bars!
