Adorable cottage and fantastic hostess
We loved our stay. Adele is extremely accommodating and nice. We especially enjoyed bike riding around the island and relaxing on the sweet patio. The cottage is charming as well. And so close to both the beach , restaurants and shopping. Lovely!
The property was very clean and quite beautiful!
The cottage had everything and more we wanted on this vacation. The location is perfect - you can see the sunrise and sunset on a beach within minutes of the cottage. My kids really enjoyed the freedom of kayaking, biking, or walking on the island. We also enjoyed just playing ping pong when not at the beach. After getting groceries, once we parked the car it stayed in park until we left. Definitely plan to be back!
We are regulars to AMI and were very pleased with Twin Palms. Crit and Adele were very hospitable. The cottage was super clean and nice and cozy. I enjoyed being able to use the kayaks and bikes.
Thank-you so much....tickled that you were most happy with your stay.
Private and beautiful !
We fell in love with the house and AMI. It is so pretty and the owners are so nice and a charm to deal with. The private little garden where we ate was so quiet. Crit made sure that we had a great week and was incredible. Beach gear and everything that you would possibly need are provided. It is clean and bigger than we thought. Perfect location near the pier and the fabulous beach. No wonder this house is booked more than a year in advance. We will be back and we already miss Anna Maria Island, the weather and this beautiful place and the owners. Don't hesitate! This is the place!
Dear Jose and Family,
We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay in our little cottage. Thank-you many times over and look forward to your next visit.
I surprised my husband for our 18th anniversary with a trip to Florida. I chose this cottage because it seemed cozy and quaint. Little did I know that it would greatly exceed my expectations. We loved the decor, location, size, patio, and all the little details that were thought of right down to the colored marbles scattered throughout the crushed shell "gravel" outside. Adele is very friendly & accommodating and made it easy to want to come back. This little gem is just 2 doors down from a general store with a deli and steps away from boutique shopping. We loved the availability of the bikes (which we made extensive use of!) and kayaks (which we'll have to get to next time!). We enjoyed long walks on the beach and spending quality time together while feeling at home. We were impressed with the availability of FREE public transportation around the island, but didn't take advantage. The cottage is smack in the middle of the historic district of Anna Maria Island with the oldest church on the island directly across the street. Overall, we couldn't be more happy with our stay. Twin Palms is the perfect getaway that is close to everything you'll ever need for an island vacation.
P.S. be sure to check out the free museum just a couple blocks away to learn the fascinating history of Anna Maria Island.
I am so happy that you had a wonderful time. Thank-you for the lovely review.
Paradise at Twin Palms
We spent 5 nights at Twin Palms and wished we had booked for longer. Never booking a private property in the US before we were a little anxious but from first contact with Adele we were put at ease and the pictures of this charming cottage on the VRBO site are a true reflection of what to expect for a completely relaxing holiday. The cottage is well appointed and much more spacious than we thought it would be with plenty of room both indoors and out.
Adele, Crit and Greta are so welcoming and easy going, the cottage is well equipped with many extras such as beach chairs, bikes, kayaks all available for guests to use. The location is a 1 minute walk to the main Anna Maria Pier at North Island and also where the free trolley bus picks up and you can ride to the southern tip of this island approximately 1/2 hour each way and discover Holmes Beach, Manatee beach and other places of interest.
On our return the first evening to one of the many restaurants within walking distance the private patio to the cottage is lit up with coloured fairy lights and a garden water feature bubbling away makes for an ideal place to sit and read, have a drink and just chill.
We are so pleased we stayed here and would highly recommend the cottage, the location and thank you Adele for making the whole booking process easy. We will see you again.
Beverley and John, thank-you so much. You made my day and so look forward to seeing you again.
