Overall Nice place - Close to Asheville
My family of four stayed here as part of our holiday vacation. The lower level was perfect for our teenage boys. We all really enjoyed the fire pit. The owner was also really responsive when we wanted to watch a TV channel that was not available and provided us his Roku to use for our stay. Overall the place was clean and we were pleased, but I feel like there were a few small things missing that would really make this place stand out. The kitchen lacked a little in equipment. A good set of knives, pizza pan and a few more pots would have been great. The electric heating unit was a little loud when it was starting. I would recommend adding some drawers or shelves for clothing upstairs - since we were there several days, that would have been nice. An outdoor grill would have been great. It rained a lot while we were there and it would have been good to have some hooks to hang our coats on by the door and an entry rug to put our shoes on. Overall I would recommend it. The location was easy to get to and convenient for us.
Very cute cabin!
I stayed here with a group of 7 others after we accidentally booked this 6 person cabin. Chuck was very nice about it and had towels laid out for all 8 guests. I wouldn’t reccomend you book this cabin for 8, but we all slept comfortably and had plenty of space. The upstairs bed was phenomenal. The cabin is in a small neighborhood right next to the highway but you don’t really even notice. They’ve put up a privacy fence behind the house which blocks out most of the noise. The neighbors were very friendly! The location was perfect, not too far from Asheville but you still get that mountain cabin vibe. I will say that you shouldn’t plan to cook here unless you’re bringing your own gear like we did. The kitchen is very small and has very limited kitchen tools. Coffee was provided for us! I also wanted to note that there is a $60 mandatory damage protection fee that they tack on in addition to all the other fees later in the reservation process. I don’t know if that’s typical with VRBO properties (as this is the first time I’ve booked something through them.) I felt a little cheated by it and probably would have went with a different cabin if I had known about it. We were already paying almost $70 per person for two nights without the added damage protection. It did end up coming in handy after a chair broke during our stay. Overall, we had a great time. The cabin was adorable. Thanks for having us, Chuck!
We loved the location and hanging out at the fire pit.

Great ladies weekend!
Perfect for ladies weekend & close to downtown.
Cute little cabin in a great location!
Thanks so much for a great trip to Asheville. This was the perfect location for us — we had a wedding and a couple things we wanted to do in Asheville, but also some things in Chimney Rock and Hendersonville. We were able to get to it all conveniently from this spot. My girls LOVED the bunk beds and the cozy cabin feel. Chuck was so helpful and even called me a few days before to give me a couple of tips for the trip. Thank you again!
We are so happy y’all had a wonderful time. Thank you for the great review and would love to have you again! Cheers, Chuck, Debbie and Ali
