Aloha, and welcome to our vacation home in Hawaii specifically designed for the eclectic adult. We are only a few steps away (3 blocks) from the world renowned Waikiki beach and International Market Place (presently under construction), high-end shopping, fine and casual dining, and public transportation (taxi or bus). This newly designed adult studio is located in the center of Waikiki on Seaside Avenue between the old international Marketplace on Kuhio Avenue and the Ala Wai canal.
Why stay in a sparsely furnished hotel room where you are limited to sitting on a stiff upright chair or on the edge of a bed, when you can relax and enjoy your experience in Hawaii in this exceptionally clean, well designed and tastefully furnished tropical deluxe studio suite for less.
We have designed this studio with you, our (adult) guests in mind in order to make your Island experience as enjoyable as possible. We are able to provide you this comfort by using only top quality exotic hardwood furniture from Indonesia, appliances and accessories for your personal enjoyment. Other units at this price range in this building and other buildings in Waikiki do not compare to the level of detail we have provided for you in this suite.
Because this is also our personal vacation home which we visit several times a year, we are committed to keeping this unit very clean and up to date, by regularly servicing the air conditioner and replacing any items such as towels, bed linens, and cookware on a regular basis. For sanitary reasons, we have decided to remove all carpeting in this apartment and instead have used a nice soft travertine tile (natural stone) that is pleasant to walk on. This eliminates dust allergens that affect many people.
This studio boasts a large 100 square feet terracotta tiled lanai which is furnished with large comfortable wicker patio lounge chairs, coffee table and love seat. Here you can sit back, relax and simply enjoy the beautiful nightly sunsets to the south, gaze upon the grand views of Honolulu to the west, the serene and tranquil Ko’olau mountain range to the north or the stunning romantic evening reflections off the Ala Wai canal below.
We provide you with a deluxe Serta queen size bed, using quality bed linens with a thread count of 300 plus for your sleeping comfort after a long day of sightseeing. We also provide you with an inviting and ambient living and dining area to relax in where you can enjoy a simple meal, watch your favorite movies or TV programs on a wall mounted magnificent 42' plasma screen, or just listen to music on the stereo. The plasma screen is positioned strategically so that you can watch your shows from either the living room area or from the comfort of your bed.
This condo includes a customized kitchenette with all the conveniences should you desire to cook a simple meal or a late night snack after a night out in Waikiki. This kitchenette includes a standard fridge/freezer, a dual functioning microwave and convection oven, a dishwasher which are all accented in decorative stainless steel and a built in counter cook top.
Other amenities at no extra cost include wireless internet access, free local telephone calls, cable connected 42 inch plasma screen, and a Blu-Ray unit for Blu-Ray/CD/DVD playback. This unit is truly designed to be your tropical home away from home.
For your added peace of mind and safety, there is a 24 hour manned security desk located at the lobby entrance.
For all your sunbathing needs, the building has a large wrap around deck on the 6th floor which includes a large swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and many sun tanning areas. For your convenience, BBQ grills and picnic areas for outdoor cook outs, a small convenience store and a large coin Laundry facility are also located on this level. Public parking is available in the building at a daily rate of approximately $25 US and must be paid at the parking facility's booth located at the parking entrance. Enterprise car rental services are located on the south side of this building for your convenience.
Unlike other condos or apartments advertised on VRBO for the Waikiki area, all of our photos on this website were recently taken (Jan 2016) and is indicative of our apartment's current condition. I have heard of many disappointed clients complain to us that many of the properties they have rented in the past were not indicative of the property's pictures being advertised (this has also happened to my family so I know what it is like to be disappointed). So please be aware of those sites providing no pictures of their units or ones where photos look dated (you know...that tired and worn out 70's - 80's look). We also invite you to compare rates that are offered at the Island Colony Hotel, where room conditions are not guaranteed.
We are here to please you...not to deceive you. Please view our visitor's comments for unedited and genuine responses from guests whom have stayed with us. We decided to take the listing off for a year so that we could use our home during this period and therefore you might not see any comments for this period. Yet, we chose an area in Waikiki where we could also enjoy the quiet side of life in Waikiki. This is now our second home where we are guaranteed to have all our personal items and needs available on a consistent basis. Hotels are unpredictable, even the good ones. By having our own condo, and renovating it with the quality materials we are accustomed to, it has become an extension of our own home on the mainland.
