This gorgeous, family-owned southern plantation is located in the Heart of the Lowcountry, just outside of Beaufort, South Carolina. Discover the unforgettable beauty and magic of Lowcountry living at Huspa Plantation- enjoy fishing right off of the riverbank, take a dip in the private pool or enjoy yoga on the pool deck, engage in a friendly game of tennis at our private court, or work out in our 'exercise cottage'.
Whether you choose Huspa to recharge your soul with a quiet vacation or share awe-inspiring moments with friends and family- you won’t find a better place!
While the plantation is quietly rural, you will be less than 10 minutes from I-95, 20 minutes from historic Beaufort, an easy 1 hour drive to the historic French quarter and battery districts of Charleston or the antebellum architecture and manicured parks of Savannah, and just an hour to the pristine beaches, impeccable golf courses, and plentiful shopping of Hilton Head Island- it’s the place to stay and experience it all from one of the most beautiful plantations in the Lowcountry.
Come stay at Huspa to experience a true slice of Lowcountry heaven!
Huspa offers its guests use of the house and facilities within close proximity. We are a horse boarding and wedding event facility with pastures and venue sites on the property. Our business provides our horse boarding customers with access to the horse stables on the property at their leisure and possible wedding clients to be on property accompanied by staff. We do not, however, allow customers near the house and surrounding property during VRBO rentals. VRBO house rentals do not include the venue sites or property near the horse pastures and trails when booking. We ask our guests to be respectful of our boarding horses and to NOT hold events on the property without staff notification prior to booking. If catering or rental vendors are brought onto the property, without prior authorization during the stay, an event fee will be withdrawn from the security deposit.
*Originating in 1868, Huspa Plantation continues as a working plantation, a private family home and business. Huspa Plantation is a privately owned estate in which the revenue from its rentals and horse boarders support the preservation of this unique part of southern heritage. The family kindly asks to be respectful of the property and all its animals and guests.
