About Lori Beuerle
I live in Denver, Colorado and own a canine physical therapy business. I left Michigan after I graduated from college because I wanted to live in the mountains. It has been wonderful but do look forward to returning to Suttons Bay Michigan some day.
Lori Beuerle purchased this Cottage in 2005
Why Lori Beuerle chose Suttons Bay
Suttons Bay is my childhood home. I purchased this property for my retirement. I am happy to share this property with people because Suttons Bay and Leelanau county is a very special place. It hasn't been touched by big box stores and provides a wonderful setting to get away from it all.

Everything you need for your stay!
We found your home very comfortable, set up nice! The area is beautiful, lots to see & do ! Convenient location to area shops & beach! Umbrella didn’t work on outside table but that was a small issue! We would recommend this home to friends!
In the area for a wedding
My family stayed here in June/July 2019 for a wedding. It was just right for a family of 6 adults and 1 child. The cottage was very clean and had lots of amenities for our stay. Easy check in and if ever in the area would rent again. Would recommemd to rent.
Perfect getaway house!
This was my first time renting a house and I was alittle hesitant. Your house far exceeded my expectations! It was so roomy and decorated so welcoming. Everything you could possibly need was there. My family asked if we could make this a new tradition! 🙂The little ones had plenty of room to play and nap. They also loved crossing the “little bridge “ to the beach, playing in the sand, kayaking and walking to playground. Perfect location to all the local attractions! We had a great weekend getaway! Thanks so much for your prompt replies and sharing your house with us!
Property was meticulous and felt very clean! Very roomy as 6 of us stayed and never bumped into each other. Would go back for sure and highly recommend :)
Loved the layout and all the space of the home, better than the pictures showed
Excellent home in a great location. Feel like you are out in the country and only a short walk takes you into a great up north town. Will definitely keep this one on my radar for another visit!
We had a blast in Sutton’s Bay in this cottage. We had four adults, two kids, and a beagle, and it was the perfect size. The location was great and the condition of the cottage was wonderful. Felt at home while away!
