A guy from New England marries a girl from NYC and in '13 a full renovation follows - from the vaulted ceilings to all new sheetrock to the new vinyl flooring and all new furniture. Her love for cooking and his dread of another sink full of dirty dishes made way for one of the most amazing small kitchen designs, replete with a dishwasher! We love this little gem and we hope you'll love it too.

July 31, 2004We spent two beautiful weeks in your cottage and found everything just as we had expected -- excellent. The New England weather had quite some kicks in store for us, but sometimes having to stay inside is not such a bad thing at all, particularly in your roomy, comfortable cottage. In the evenings we played games, read, and were bored to h**l watching the Democratic Convention on TV.Too bad the Cape is just a little bit too far from Amsterdam. Otherwise we would be back next year.
We (couple with two young children) had a fantastic time in this lovely cottage. It is free-standing and screened from other cottages in the association by trees. We were pleased to have so much privacy. As other reviewers have mentioned, it has a modern, open, beachy feel. We had plenty of room for ourselves and our things for a week. The kids loved the bunk beds, and there were loads of games, books, and toys to entertain them. The pool was a great bonus. As promised, the kitchen was well stocked and quite easy to cook in -- we ended up eating in the cottage most days.
Deb was a very friendly and helpful host. We contacted her on arrival as there was a slight problem in the cottage that she could not have anticipated. She dealt with the problem quickly and efficiently, in a way that made it clear how much she cared that we have an enjoyable stay. It was truly like staying in the home of a friend.
We had a fantastic time in North Truro at the Stuffed Clam! The cottage is modern, comfortable and stylish, with a sweet deck. It feels like a lofty treehouse, and sits up among the leaves on a small hill. Very quiet, yet central location. Wonderful amenities - well-appointed kitchen, high-quality linens, fun toys and beach supplies (nets, buckets, etc). It is small, but feels light and spacious. The pool and playground down the hill were a lovely plus. Deb was extremely responsive if we had a question and respectful of our privacy and family time during a quick emergency repair. I would absolutely go back!
My family loved this property and all the amenities included. Great for families or couples as this cottage has such character and you can see that the owner has thought of everything for you! We definately enjoyed our stay and the suggestions offered by the owner as this was our first trip to the Cape!
We loved this cottage!! It has a well-designed, beautifully renovated interior that is cozy and modern. The location can't be beat for access to the most beautiful beaches (and delicious homemade ice cream and pizza just a stroll away.) The back deck of the cottage is suspended in the trees, with chirping birds -- perfect spot for summer dinners. And the owner, Deb, so helpful and lovely. We can't wait to return!
My wife and I, together with our 1 year old boy, had a wonderful week at the Stuffed Clam. the property itself is wonderful, with beautiful coastal decor throughout and all mod-cons required including great wi-fi and tv services (not that they were used much due to being so close to the beach!).
Deb, the owner of the property, was the perfect host being helpful with any queries we had and answering any questions extremely quickly.
In terms of location, the property itself is in a lovely secluded condo just 15 mins walk to Great Hollow Beach on the Cape. Even being part of a Condo set up the property feels very private due to the location set out on a hill among the tree tops.
There is a great cafe/pizzeria and ice cream parlour only 5 mins walk, as well as a local store and liquor store close by too. For anything more we just made the short trip to Provincetown to get further supplies.
Our family had a most relaxing and perfect break, being ideally located to many great beaches, in a fantastic property.
We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Cape!
My title says it all; absolutely fantastic place to stay! My wife, 2-year old son, and mom stayed here for a week at the end of July. The cottage is beautiful, modern, and excellently equipped. The hosts were nothing short of amazing providing with perfect recommendations for everything from food to beaches and other attractions. Truro is a beautiful, quiet, out-of-the-way town to stay in with beautiful private beaches that aren't too busy. Everything was as described in the listing. I can't recommend this place enough and can't wait to come back!
