Just 15 minutes from the entertainment of historic Red Lodge Montana, and a brief walk through the fields to bountiful trout stream, Rock Creek, this original 1898 homestead sits in quiet meadows secluded from the sights and sounds of civilization. Private yet easily accessible, this home features the inner warmth of old, hand hewn logs with the exterior look of a picturesque, rustic farmhouse surrounded by trees. The upper level added in 1993 has been newly refurbished, offering a bright, tree house feel and views of the beautiful Beartooth Mountains just 20 minutes south. Directly outside the front door a wood fired sauna and clear stream await, complementing the massage table located up the wrought iron, spiral staircase in the main house. All beds are furnished with comfy toppers, and extra warmth can be delivered by firing up the gas fireplace. Much of the dwelling remains the simple style of farmers of old, yet lovely in its humble décor, updated with washer and dryer, gas and electric heat.

About Cynthia Marble
I was born and raised in Montana, and came to this area with my family in 1965. Aside from 11 years in LA and attending the U of Arizona in Tucson (with brief stints in Denver and New Zealand), Montana has been my blessed home.
Why Cynthia Marble chose Roberts
My family purchased this property in 1973 as it has abundant hay fields for feeding livestock.
What makes this House unique
A very private, peaceful place with stellar, pastoral views.

We rented this for a family reunion nearby. It was 10-15 minutes away from our destination. Comfortable and quiet with all the amenities we needed. We were thrilled to find a fully appointed kitchen and bath. The beds were comfortable and it was easy to heat and cool. I would rent this place again in a heartbeat.
I so appreciate you and yours, Jo Dee! Thanks for everything and please come stay again.
Drive up the Scenic Beartooth highway to Yelowstone Park, or travel 70 minutes to Cody, WY for The Buffalo Bill Cody Museum and art galleries, shops, bars and restaurants, though Red Lodge is complete with many delightful restaurants, bars, shops, art galleries and a museum. The Pig Races at Bearcreek Downs is a fun place with great food as well. The Grizzly Bar in Roscoe is a scenic 40 minute drive and a great place to catch the local ranchers...Though you may not want to leave The Petersen Place.
