About Alex Ershov

We are a friendly middle age married couple. Natasha is retired and is home during the day and Alex is a Construction Manager in San Francisco. Since Alex commutes to San Francisco, one of the services that we can offer is a ride into San Francisco in the morning (early) and a return trip back to the house late in the afternoon during the week days for a $20 fee. It would give you a nice opportunity to explore the city. Alex can drop you off at the interesting parts of San Francisco such as Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Exploratorium, Golden Gate Bridge, Museums, etc. He can also give you some good advise on exploring the City since he was born in San Francisco and knows it well. We will also be able to give you some great ideas for some near by destinations. There is also a bus station located in town that will take you to SF or other points in Sonoma and Marin Counties. A continental breakfast will be provided. Coffee and tea is always available. Any other meals would be up to you. Like previously stated, you will have the use of our kitchen and there are some great restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

Awesome Stay!

  • 5 of 5

This was an awesome gem that is just right on the border of everything! The home itself was absolutely cozy with amenities I never even would have suspected would be wonderful (i.e. heated toilet seat and dimmer switches on lights throughout the space). The location is phenomenal and quiet. Alex and Natasha helped us plan a few last minute details with their favorite suggestions.

Super hosts, spotlessly clean and functional accommodations

  • 5 of 5

Alex and Natasha made us fell very welcome. Alex helped us plan our day in Sonoma. The place is unique with lots of charm. The neighborhood is great and close to Petaluma's downtown. This was our first Airbnb and we found it to be more then we expected in terms of comfort and convenience. Overall we'd highly recommend Alex and Natasha's place as an alternative to "corporate" accommodations.

A quaint, charming home to come back to after a long day of wine tasting

  • 5 of 5

It's a small space, especially for 5 people but Alex and his wife made it work with their creativity to use the space. I loved all the mirrors, TV with many channels to choose from, the heated toilet seat, and the zen green backyard. I almost forgot to mention the beds, once i laid on the futon/bed downstairs, I melted into the sheets.
