From the moment you open the door to this beautiful, newly furnished Condo will see the crystal clear warm Gulf waters, white sand beach and award winning gardens - just steps away and waiting for you to enjoy. Everything is provided for you to have the vacation of a lifetime - from beach chairs to wireless high speed internet. The Condo provides a total beach experience with new tropical decor, European style kitchen, brilliant white tile flooring in a family and pet friendly environment. (Only one pet allowed per rental under 25 lbs--condo rules)

You can wake to the soft sounds of the Gulf waters from the oversized master bedroom with sliding glass doors leading directly to the screened lanai. The second bedroom has in suite bathroom with twin beds allowing your guests privacy.

Our Condo is located directly next the tennis courts, grills and other recreational amenities. The pool is conveniently located with an adjoining picnic areas. Our condo offers Wireless/High Speed Internet connections, too.

The Condo is just 35 minutes from Fort Myers airport and three blocks from the Sanibel causeway. Because of our location we have an easy on and off access to the island.

A Must Stay!

We have visited Sanibel and stayed at Loggerhead for the past 26 years and have moved from condo to condo through the years. We enjoyed this condo so much last year as a family that my fiance and I are planning our honeymoon to Sanibel and have already set up everything to stay here again! It is not only beautiful and well equipped, but it is pet friendly and our dog loved it last year! It is right by the grills for cooking at lunch and dinner, and next to the tennis courts if you want to get out and get some exercise. Also the family that owns the condo is a pleasure to do business with and I would recommend them to anyone! We plan on coming back to Loggerhead in June of 2013 as a family again and we already know this is the route to go!

Cheerful and relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our second-year-in-a-row visit to your condo.Your bright and cheerful decor set the ambiance for full yet relaxing days at Sanibel. Although I don't cook in the condo (unless making coffee counts), I was still impressed with the especially well-stocked kitchen.The tile and hardwood floors are easy to keep clean and sand free. If we needed to use the second bedroom and bath, the floor plan allowed this area privacy from the rest of the unit.

Bedding and linens were top-notch and plentiful. Closet space and storage is way more than ample. We also appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella you left on the screened porch.

Your first floor location is a definite advantage for pet owners. The straight-out-to-the gulf, pool and courtyard view beats looking across at another condo. The complex itself is well-maintained and personnel on the grounds are friendly and helpful.

You, the owner, have been responsive and pleasant at all times. Thanks for sharing your home with us and we can't wait to return next year.

PS. For first time visitors to Sanibel - the island is very dog friendly. Dogs are allowed on the beaches and several restaurants welcome dogs to their outside dining.

Vacation in Sanibel

We had the most amazing time at your condo. The place was great (quite large). Everything went well. When we spoke on the phone and you mentioned an issue with the countertop, it did not change our stay at all. Everything was convenient, lanai, wireless internet, and easy access to pool/beach. Easy in and out to the complex with parking right outside the door. Next time we prepare for the tennis courts and the gas grills. What a great vacation and the weather was great. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great getaway.

I wish we could reserve for next year but with my wife being a teacher we can not make plans. We will keep in touch.

We loved the Condo! (And can't wait to book it again)

The condo was PERFECT, it had all you needed for a week at the beach plus you can bring your dog. The gas grill was right outside the door, convenient, it was a short walk to the beach, not a big deal. The place was VERY clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything, I pack alot and thought half the stuff would not be there and it was and more. Their was absolutely nothing to complain about!! My husband wants to go back this summer. You can't ask for more, we liked that we were on the ground floor, easier to go to beach and walk our dog. Loved it!!

This condo was a big disappointment-

We rented this condo for a month earlier this year and found it to be very disappointing. The location was so far from the beach that we were not able to hear the sounds of the waves as described, we couldn't even see the beach. The furniture was worn and very dirty. The sofa we covered with sheets and towels on the dining chairs. The bedroom carpeting was torn and dirty.....we put down a sheet so that our grandchildren could sit and watch TV. I explained to the owner that I needed to be near the pool because I couldn't walk a long distance to a pool..she assured me the pool was close to the next building.....more like 3-4 buildings away. A hedge was in front of porch, so was difficult to look out unless you stand up. Two pans had dried food on them and there were old french fries in the oven.

This turned out to be a long, disappointing , expensive month. VRBO ad made it sound like you should make arrangements for rental with the owner.....never rent thru an owner, go thru the management company that manages the condo.

Owner's Response: Generally we would not reply to a review, but this one is so filled with false statements we must set the record straight. 1) This renter had issues when she first arrived, but quickly became silent (until now) after we reduced the rent 2) This renter broke property--the washer had to be replaced while she was in the unit 3) You can be assured this condo is CLEAN! We bring our own families here, have the finest cleaners on the island and replace and update every year. We have never had a complaint about cleanliness in the nearly 10 years we have rented this property. Especially perplexing is that we stayed in the condo the week before she arrived and none of the food items she mentioned were there when we arrived or eaten while we were in residence. Possibly, she forgot these items might have been placed by other guests during her stay or her grandchildren. 4) This renter is confused that she booked this unit through a local property management company on the island-- not the owner. We have what we believe to be the finest property management company on the island who worked with her in every way 5) The bush blocking the view from the lanai cannot be cut due to Florida environmental laws 6) Distance to the beach and pool are always stated clearly and are shown clearly in our photos. However, if people have mobility issues any distance can be upsetting 7) This renter was clearly told this was a Gulf View condo not a Gulf Front--but if people have any hearing problems--sounds from the beach can be difficult, also. We have a number of repeat renters every year and have so many positive responses, we only regret this was a rather mean spirited renter who decided to write this review
