'Such a gem - a total find!

This condo has it all, gorgeous wooded location, privacy, and also proximity to all the sports,and Vail Village activities you came to Vail for. Its layout allows it to accommodate a good group of people easily, and the decor is tasteful and comfortable. It feels more like visiting a friend's house than your typical remtal condo. I am absolutely planning to return here for all future trips!'

Delightful, fully furnished, two story condominium located minutes from Lionshead Village and the Gondola in prime West Vail Sandstone location. Beautifully decorated with 1100 square feet of living space that includes two spacious bedrooms, an oversized full bathroom and a half bath, large private deck and additional balcony, kitchen, dining area, living room, and laundry.

The living area includes a very comfortable pull-out sleeper/sofa, cozy gas fire place, cable television, DVD player, CD/Stereo and access to the first floor deck. Enjoy spectacular views of the mountains and the magnificent colors of a Vail sunset through seven-foot windows, all from the comfort of an easy chair! Grill out or cook a fabulous meal in the well equipped kitchen. Heated tiles in the entrance area ensure that you can remove your ski/snow board boots and still keep your tootsies warm!

Upstairs the master bedroom has a spectacular view of the ski slopes and has a queen size bed (new mattress -2017), a set of bunks and a large built in closet, with plenty of room to move! The second bedroom has a king size bed (new mattress- 2017)and private balcony. Both bedrooms have built-in closets.

Enjoy this immaculate condominium's fresh feel. Minutes walk to the gondola, or if you’re feeling tired catch the free Vail bus service conveniently located just steps away. Park your car in the snow free, outdoor parking lot right outside the building. Take a five minute drive to restock your supplies at Safeway or City Market (or catch the bus).

Vail boasts some of the best skiing and boarding in the world, with magnificent back bowls and numerous groomers. Visit Adventure Ridge and enjoy a variety of non ski activities such as ice skating, tubing, snow biking and snowmobiling just to name a few. Nice location. Great to stay in a home with a kitchen.

You need to walk around the back of the building to find the place (I was confused on how place was numbered and felt like I was creeping around looking for it). Nice layout- hang out on main floor and then upstairs to huge bedrooms with nice closets- keep in mind stairs are rather steep though. You may want a baby gate if you're traveling with small kids. Bathroom on both floors is nice. Beautiful creek next to property. Close to nice trails. Easy location to get to everything but not smack dab in middle of town. Sue was very responsive to texts (even with info I know she'd already given but I couldn't remember where it was written). Nicely stocked with plenty of linens and towels. Porch off living room and bedroom. Mountain air was wonderful!! Only complaint I have is maintenance was working on redoing some porches (sawing, drilling) at 8am on both Saturday and Sunday- but at least it means they're keeping up with things. Would definitely stay again.

Spacious; well located; good owner; 3 to 4 stars

Sue is a very conscientious owner. Our security deposit was refunded promptly. A two-level condo, it is spacious, functional, and well equipped, though not luxurious. It's built into the side of a slope; the 1st floor entrance is at ground level on a courtyard (nice and private), the parking lot is outside the 2nd floor rear MBR , and the other bedroom (the nicest) overlooks the courtyard. The two bedrooms share a hall bath. It's an older frame building with its share of creaks. Another condo is above; light noise from it and the parking lot outside the MBR wasn't bothersome to us. The walk to Lionshead is pleasant in nice weather, but rather lengthy with ski gear. The bus loop didn't go where we needed, so driving and forking over Vail's $25 parking fee worked best for us. There's one parking space, but thanks to a hint from Sue, we parked a 2nd car on a nearby street; space on a weekend might be tight. There are a few gaps where the condo is not quite like the photos show. The MBR had only the bed for furniture, and the mattress needs replacing. We thought the condo would be more appealing with some attention to carpet and paint, the kitchen tile grout, new toilet seats, and replacing the grease clogged filter in the range hood. Perhaps we're more picky than some. Overall, the condo worked out okay for our 3-day stay.

Convenient location, condo was run down

The condo was out dated and in need of some repair/upkeep. The furniture was not very comfortable. Fixtures in bathroom and kitchen need to be replaced. Towels were stained. Location is convenient to Vail village by car (just a few minutes).

June 2017 Update: Just spent the weekend at Vail doing repairs, upkeep and paint touch ups. Note: new mattresses on the king and queen beds, new towels, linen etc..

Comfortable stay at a good price!

My group enjoyed this property very much and it is especially helpful that the key is kept in a lock box so we didn't have to worry about who had a key and who didn't. All can come and go as they please. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked! We had plenty of linens, pillows and towels for all. Sue was very helpful and responsive with any questions or problems. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Good place, Good Location, Great Price

A group of friends and I go on annoys ski trip every year. We have been wanting to come to vail sometime but can hardly find something that fits us for the price. This place was almost perfect. Ski in/out would be perfect but you're going to break the bank for that here. We only had 6 but will sleep 8 comfortable. Location is good. A little further than expected but you can still walk to lionshead if you like. We did the first day but found out where the bus picked up and started using that the rest of the time. Didn't spend much time at the house but it was perfect for boys get a away. Online thing I would have liked would be a map of the bus route but we figured it out by asking a few people. If you're looking for a good place at a great price this is it. Sue is great and makes it easy. I will defiently be booking again on the next time coming to vail.

Cozy place with fully stocked kitchen!

Wonderful place with very nice and helpful home owner. Perfect place for a ski trip with friends. The only pain is that they only have a parking pass for one car and it's very difficult to find parking in Vail otherwise. Also recommend figuring out the shuttle system early if you are skiing (its not bad but can take a while on the first day).
