Why Property Manager/Owner chose Historic Hill
Make your vacation easy and enjoyable and walk to everything that Newport has to offer. Many generations have lived in this home over the last few hundred years and it is special to be able to enjoy the historical everyday aspect of the life of the early settlers of our country.

Arrived on a frigid Thanksgiving to a warm and cozy apartment. Directions for parking and check in were easy and perfect. The fridge and pantry were stocked for coffee and breakfast in the morning, which was a thoughtful touch. You can't beat the location - on historic hill, an easy walk to the shops and restaurants or up to Bellevue. We were lucky to get to meet the owner as she was decorating the window boxes for Christmas - she was kind and accommodating and happy to provide recommendations. I will definitely be back!
Perfect weekend getaway spot!
We truly loved this place. It was convenient to everything, within walking distance to the waterfront, and all the great restaurants and nightspots in Newport. The renovations are amazing and Andrea was a very helpful, responsive host. The décor is beautiful, and all the essentials were available to us. This is the nicest Home Away property we have ever seen! We will definitely be back again. Thanks for making our weekend special Andrea!
lovely apartment in great location
Although the apartment was so lovely and the host so kind and welcoming we did not have a good stay. The issue was our sleeping situation which was not good at all. The very small old mattress was very uncomfortable and had us on the couch the second night which was a little more comfortable but not so much so we split up. Also the tenant above was arguing all evening and it sounded like they were in the room. A new mattress is very much needed here and possible a television for the bedroom to drown out the sounds of the street and upstairs. Sleep is so important especially as we were here for so many events that were not enjoyed because we were so tired and unrested.
I strive to provide the most comfortable accommodations appealing to as many people as possible which includes delivery of a new queen mattress July, 2018. I regret the apartment did not meet your expectations.
Absolutely wonderful home in Newport!
We drove 23 hours from Kansas and were just nearly speechless upon arriving! Andrea was so incredibly nice and helpful with any questions we had concerning Newport and the area. The home is beautiful and meticulous, We walked everywhere and definitely loved this part of the United States, can’t wait to return and would definitely stay here again without a doubt! Thanks Andrea!
We had a wonderful time staying here in celebration of our wedding anniversary!
The apartment was immaculate and a perfect location for all that we did this week. The special touches of the breakfast goodies left for us and the checking in with suggestions was greatly appreciated. Andrea was a perfect host and we look forward to a return visit to Newport and this charming home.
Our wedding weekend ❤️
Andrea was an AMAZING host! We stayed for our wedding weekend. While we were not there a lot, it was the perfect getaway for us. Andrea made us feel so at home leaving us the kindest note, food in the fridge and a bottle of wine as a gift for our wedding. I would and will definitely be staying here again. It was the best experience! We can’t thank her enough!
