The property is situated in an upscale oceanfront complex on the southwest side of Del Mar. You can walk south from the condo to Torrey Pines Beach and State Park or north along the spectacular bluff path overlooking the ocean to shops, restaurants, beaches and the beautiful Seagrove Park. It is a light and uncluttered unit with ocean views from the living room, master bedroom and large view deck. This is a prime location with everything you need while on vacation in this resort style community with swimming pool, hot tub, gym, tennis courts, clubhouse and covered parking. Small dog OK.
The condo itself has been completely remodeled with all new furnishings added and high speed ceiling fans in every room. With the sliding glass doors open there is a delightful onshore breeze which flows through the unit off of the Pacific Ocean. The large living area features a brand new cook's kitchen with stainless steel appliances, quartz counters, and equipped for even the fussiest cook in your family. The kitchen is open to the dining and living areas, and it all faces west to the view from the deck with bar height table, comfy chairs and gas BBQ grill. After a day outdoors and a beautiful sunset, you can enjoy the gas fireplace and 55" LCD Smart HDTV with cable and premium channel service provided. The dining table comfortably seats 6 and the living area features a large sectional sofa and club chair plus a leather chair and ottoman in the corner for reading or working on your laptop.
The master suite, which also faces west and opens to the deck and view, features a Queen Size bed with new memory foam mattress, down pillows and duvet, dresser, 50" Smart TV and a comfy chair. The bathroom/dressing area offers couples flexible privacy as the vanity/dressing area can be closed off from the shower and second sink and toilet. The guest bedroom can be made up with two extra-long twin beds (also with memory foam mattresses, down pillows and duvets), or put together to make one King Size bed. There's a beautiful bathroom with shower and pedestal sink along with the new Washer/Dryer in a separate adjacent area. Both bedrooms have large closets designed by California Closets. Though the condo is best suited for a maximum of four guests, there is a queen sized air mattress which can easily be set up in the living area at night for overflow sleeping.
The unit comes complete with secure WiFi internet access, all household supplies, linens and towels as well as lots of beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards (little ones too for the kids) and beach toys. Reserved parking is adjacent to the condo and you can get a parking pass for the beach lot if you're heading down with too much equipment to carry. All in all, Del Mar, which is quieter, less crowded and touristy than its lovely neighbor La Jolla to the south, offers the best location from which to explore all the wonders of the Southern California Coast. From the Del Mar Woods neighborhood it is a simple and quick drive to San Diego favorites such as historic Old Towne San Diego, the San Diego Zoo, Petco Park and the Downtown Gaslamp District. Commuting is easily accessible with nearby Interstate 5 and 805, Coast Highway 101 and Highway 56.
