This is our family home so you will truly feel like a local as you settle in to the house and spend time on the porches. The house was built in 1890. There are 4 porches total and lost of great light throughout. We just finished a massive renovation to the house. The exterior porches and the paint are all newly updated. The kitchen and bathrooms have been recently renovated as well. There are 4 bedrooms all upstairs. Downstairs there is an eat-in kitchen, a formal dining room, a family room with a television and Roku. There is a formal room as well. The front porch is the best for people watching. We just installed a fan outside so you can keep cool on those balmy summer nights. There is also an outdoor grill on the back porch for your use. The backyard is quite large so if the kids are with you they'll have plenty of room to run around. There is a gate off the driveway that can be unlocked if you needed extra parking space. We can fit 3 cars in our driveway which is awesome! We are about 15 minutes from CHS which is an International Airport. Our home is in the Cannonborough/Elliotborough district which is the “Gateway to the Peninsula”. Just a few blocks from King Street, its walking distance to some of the best restaurants Charleston has to offer. The famous Hominy Grill, Xiao bao, Lucca, and The Ordinary just to name a few. We love the walk-ability of the location. There is a bike rental shop around the corner that offers both adult and kids bikes. If you have a really young one they offer child bike seats as well. There is a community park just down the street and multiple other parks in close proximity.
Walk to everything!

Perfect space and location!
We spent a getaway weekend at this awesome spot downtown Charleston. Walking distance from everything we wanted...great local restaurants, bars, breakfast spots, etc. Owners were super helpful and friendly and provided exceptional recommendations. The house is gorgeous...high ceilings, historic feel with modern touches. Great space with full dining room for that Victorian feel (we did a candle lit dinner here...it was awesome), and plenty of porches for sittin and drinkin! We shared the rental with another couple and there was plenty of room! Sharing the upstairs bathroom wasn't a problem as it's spacious and well arranged. Also perfect location...walk or UBER to anywhere, including the beaches and renting bikes is a MUST!!! Good times and next time, we'll return with the kids as the home is VERY kid friendly...especially the huge fenced in back yard...which is rare in Charleston!
Thanks guys! We were so happy to host you. Come back and see us. :)
