About Richard (Rick) Taylor
Rick & Eunice Taylor, Owners We’ve been married for 27 years, a second marriage for both of us. We were both divorced, we met in Traverse City and married in 1990. We have a wonderful blended family of 4 grown children and 6 almost grown grandchildren. We have owned this condo since 1992 and over the years it became a very special home away from home for us, our family and friends. Initially we purchased the condo because Rick had to travel to Northern Michigan to service accounts he had acquired for his business. Over time the business grew and Rick was spending 2 weeks out of every month in Northern Michigan and buying the condo was more economical then staying at the local hotels. Especially in the summertime when hotel rates were usually more then doubled and reservations hard to get. For business, buying the condo made sense economically, but we were very fortunate that Rick’s business grew in such a very beautiful area. We both loved Traverse City and Northern Michigan, God's country as we, and so many others, like to refer to it. It's so beautiful here in Northern Michigan and offers many different activities, culture, an appreciation for the arts, and so much more. It’s a caring community that welcomes all. We like to travel ourselves and we have used VRBO to find a home away from home in the areas that we have visited. We know how important it is for us to make sure that our condo is as presented in this listing, so that our guest will not have any regrets when they arrive, during their stay or after their departure. Over the years, the condo has been remodeled 3 times, more recently in 2012. In October of 2013 we decided to move to this beautiful area and bought a house in East Bay Township, just 5 miles form the condo. We’re close if you need us during you stay. We wanted to keep the condo and in 2014 we began renting it out to friends and family. In 2015 we tried a local rental agency that didn’t work out. We are very particular about the condo, and th

Your rental does noy include use of the resort's pools or beached. The condo is just 6 miles from downtown Traverse City where shopping, dining, entertainment and festival activities are within minutes of the condo. more then 10 pristine public sand beaches are located within 6 miles of the condo. Parasailing, boat, jet ski, wind surfing rental, hot air balloon rides, helicopter rides, it all here and all within minutes of the condo. Traverse City is a foodie town and you won’t have any problems finding places to eat, snack, feast or grocery shop. Miejers grocery store is just a mile down the road from the condo. From fast food, to home cooking, to fine dining, it’s all here nearby and in abundance. The wineries offer food, wine tasting and beautiful views of Grand Traverse Bay. You can visit these wineries yourself or take a guided tour and learn about how wine is made. Our family of 6 had an enjoyable experience in this condo. It met all of our needs. The owner, Rick, was very helpful to us throughout our stay.
Dear Lori & Family,
Thank you for your very kind review. It was truly a pleasure having you and your family as guest. The review inquiry that you received from VRBO, should have mentioned that we would send a check for $25.00, just for doing the review. Whether it's was good or bad, we need to hear from our guest. We want every experience to be at least a good one, but we prefer it to be an exceptional one. Your response will help us achieve the exceptional. Besides, you can use the $25.00, to take the girls, and your husband of course, out for ice cream. All I need is your mailing address.
Hope to see you again and Thanks Again!
