About the owner: This home is very special to me because I lived here for over 20 years and raised my 3 sons in this home. I moved from Colorado Springs to this Denver neighborhood of Congress Park in the mid 1980's to return to school. Having lived my entire life in the suburbs, city life was a new adventure and I absolutely loved it. I moved into the area long before it became so trendy. Now it is one of Denver's 'hot' neighborhoods...great central location, quiet, very family friendly, great for walking, close to shopping, groceries, restaurants, bus, tourist attractions. For me it is the best of both worlds...urban feel with a strong sense of community. Well, kids grow up and out and on to start their own adventures. I decided to rewrite my future a bit...It seemed like the perfect time to share my home and let others enjoy this charming neighborhood. I am still close by ...I can't imagine not living in the area. I am so blessed to have met so many wonderful people from all over the world...and to have a garden to play in when the mood hits.

I love the charm of these 1920's brick bungalows. I love the tree-lined streets. I love the convenient, central location. I love the ambience, the urban feel. .

The Unique Benefits at this Bungalow:
This is a quiet, very family friendly neighborhood that is great for walking. The location is ideal...The Zoo, the Museum of Nature and Science, City Park with its Summer Jazz in the Park Series is less than 2 miles north; Cherry Creek North Shopping District with its boutiques and restaurants is less than 2 miles south; and the Denver Botanic Gardens is about 1 mile west. Convenience is important...3 blocks north of the home is a Sprout Market and a B-Cycle bike rental, if you are so inclined. While the kitchen is well appointed and there is a gas grill on the patio, there are, also, many restaurants within walking distance. If you are traveling with small children, not only do I provide many of the necessities (like a pack & play, high chair, toys) there is a school playground a block away which is open whenever school is not in session. If you would prefer not to drive into downtown, take the bus. The bus stop is 1/2 block away.
