Gorgeous cabin in the trees looking onto the lake
Simply gorgeous cabin with great views of the water. All wood interior with a lovely loft on the second floor, up some steep stairs so send the young ones up there. Half bath in the loft area saves you from walking downstairs in the night. Nice kitchen. Walk right out to the lake and enjoy the cool breezes from Lake Huron. Cannot say enough good things about the cabin the lake and the views it was spectacular. Loved it.
This is a great private location. highly recommend!

Terrific! Just as described...
Beautiful property. Gorgeous interior with a classic exterior. Comfy beds and everything one needs is within property. John and Julie were always available if we had any questions. We and the other couple who stayed with us are excited to go back next year.
Peaceful surroundings and absolutely stunning sunsets across the bay!
We really love this place. Cozy house and beautiful lake view. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Beautiful setting on the water
The house had all the amenities we could need. It is such a beautiful setting, so close to the water. We enjoyed hanging out by the water. We traveled to Mackinac Island, Pictured Rock, several marinas and even went to Canada. The owner John was so nice. He called on the day of our arrival to make sure we made it ok, he also gave great suggestions for the near by meat market, where we bought steaks for the grill. They were delicious. We appreciate you sharing your home with us, and will recommend it to anyone who plans on traveling to Michigan!
Amazing week away!
We hate writing a fabulous review because we are afraid we won't be able to stay here again because it will be booked. :) Absolutely beautiful home and surroundings. Our family of 5 enjoyed our time tremendously especially kayaking at sunset and time around the fire. John was a gracious host and very accommodating and welcoming. I could not stop crying when it was time to leave so you know it was a vacation of memories. Thank you again!
Thank you so much for your review and appreciation of our home, its amenities and our surroundings!! We and our children (grown up now) spent every summer vacation working hard and playing in this beautiful area and at this very location from original rustic campsite to finished home. We and our families spend as much time as possible here when we are not booked. John and Julie
