Street Car Passes by out Front - Walk to Superdome/Smoothie King Arena - 65" TV!

This condo has been completely renovated in June 2017: New Paint, New Lighting (LED), All New Furniture including Real Leather Sofa, Memory Foam Mattresses, New Decorations, New High End Appliances, New Toilet, New Pots/Pans, New Housewares and Utensils, etc. so one of the nicest rentals in the area and in Union Loft. We chose this location because it is literally central to everything. The Street Car passes right outside the condo so you can easily travel Canal Street, St. Charles and Carrolton Ave. You are also 3 blocks from the French Quarter, 5 blocks from the Superdome/Arena, 6 blocks from Harrahs Casino and 7 blocks from the Outlet Stores and Convention Center.

Some of the advantages of our condo over "other rentals" is:

1. We were born, raised, live and work in New Orleans, so we are typically nearby in case of emergencies or needs.

2. We rent the unit directly to you, ensuring you get the best attention compared to a management company who have many units/renters to deal with.

3. We use the condo ourselves on a regular basis, so it has the same amenities we enjoy in our own home and always kept in tip top worn out.

4. We can/will provide guidance and suggestions on places to eat, drink, Nearby Happy Hours (Guide will be placed inside condo).

5. Provides Upgraded amenities other "rentals" do not include: Triple Filtered Water and Ice, Name Brand (Tresemme) Hair Products, Quality Name Brand paper towels and toilet paper (and not just 1 roll), Full equipped kitchen, Exercise Equipment (Gym), Multiple TV's, Internet Radio (Pandora) AND All the Pillows/Mattresses are NEW and have Hypoallergenic Zippered Bedbug/Dustmite Covers!!!

About Mark Johnson

My wife and I were born and raised in New Orleans and live on the "Northshore" now. We traveled to Florida Beaches so much in the past, we bought a place there to use/rent. Recently we have been "tourist" in our own home town, Downtown New Orleans and the French Quarter, and got tired of staying in run-down dirty hotels so we decide to buy another condo here to use and rent.

Why Mark Johnson chose Downtown CBD

As of July 2017, its illegal to rent anything in the French Quarter (careful if offered - rental could be shutdown at anytime) so we searched and looked at all the buildings/condos right next to the French Quarter. Union Loft ended up being the nicest one and only 3 blocks from the French and Street Cars pass out front.

What makes this condo unique

The biggest perk is that its everything is the condo is NEW and we will keep it that condition. The fact that its 1-2-3 blocks from many Famous restaurants and bars is also a huge plus to us to us and our guests.

WOW is the first thing I thought when I walked in. The place looked great online but it looks even better in person. Very nice decorations and stocked well. Everything is just as described...I think I was the first person to put something in the fridge :-) I like the fact that it was quiet at night, but I could walk 2 blocks to get to the French Quarter and have some fun. It was raining the 1st day so I just jumped on the Street Car which took me around town, no need to pay for taxi/uber. Mark was a great host, always available foto answer questions or make suggestions. Highly recommend

Perfect!

This condo is funky, clean, spacious, comfortable and perfectly equipped - we did not lack for anything. The location is also ideal as it is a 15 minute walk to wild Bourbon street but also 15 minutes to the cool warehouse district. The windows don't open, but the AC works well and there is a rooftop terrasse that serves the building. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone going to NOLA. We will be back!

Everything we were looking for and needed

Very comfortable beds,full kitchen, washer/dryer, AC/heat, TV's, everything worked great! Location was perfect for what we wanted to do, easy access, check-in and out. Owner Mark Johnson is super helpful and responsive to all my questions. Definitely want to come back.

Awesome Place

We spent Mardi Gras weekend here, and it was great. So convenient to everything we wanted to do, parades, aquarium, up town. The place is well kept and secure. Will stay here again for sure if it is available. Thanks for a great weekend.

This Condo is literally 2-3 blocks from Bourbon Street...Carondelet actually turns into Bourbon Street when it crossed Canal Street. If you do not feel like walking a few blocks, you have many options: Street Cars which pass in front of the building as well as Uber, Left, Taxi and Pedi-Cabs. Everything is nearby: ATM Across the Street, Wal-Mart less than 2 miles away as well as dozens of Restaurants and Bars around every corner/block (actually 1 restaurant across street and 1 bar downstairs in same block).
