Your guest apartment is approximately 1,750 sq/ft and is a self-contained living space that is connected to the owner’s two-story private home.
The perimeter of the property is defined by evergreens providing both privacy & aesthetic enjoyment. In summer, the landscaping incorporates an abundance of colorful flowers attracting hummingbirds to the feeders provided. The winter landscape, while more stark, is still quite beautiful and serene. It sometimes even provides a passageway for deer, elk and moose! The free-flowing outdoor layout & the inter-connected backyard decks do create a potential for possible outdoor interaction with the owner, Colin and his dog Gibbs.
Downstairs is a very elegant, open & functional living space. The design elements are contemporary. It has a full kitchen with a freestanding island bar & bar stools, making for a social cooking & entertaining environment. There is a large stone-top round dining table & chairs to comfortably seat 5. The adjoining living-room area features a sleek yet cozy & multi-optional configuration sleeper-sofa that accommodates two for sleeping. Off the kitchen is a powder room and outdoor deck with a sun-shade sail which leads to a luscious backyard. Adjustable flat screen tv's on both floors with a gas fireplace downstairs. Iphone/Ipod connection available to sound system. Wifi available. Fine art is found throughout the space.
Up the spiral staircase, the master suite has an expansive vaulted-ceiling with wonderful natural light. An adjoining bathroom features a generous size bathtub, walk-in steam shower, double sinks & a toilette with an ample walk-in closet. There is a comfortable conversation area and a balcony terrace extends the comfort to the outdoors. An adjustable flat screen tv is mounted so that it may be viewed from sofa seating area or the bed. The bed is a quality tempur-pedic eastern king mattress including an assortment of organic cotton sheets and pillows. Quality towels & washcloths compliment the bedding.

The neighborhood consists of old-growth trees & vegetation making for a welcoming – quiet & rather secluded rural feel – all within a stones-throw from town.
If without a car, a two-minute walk to bus stops will whisk you to the base of the ski mountains for skiing, hiking or cycling (summer-time you can ride the gondola with or without your mountain bike on board) or to various areas for classic and skate-skiing or to downtown or valley-wide. The bus is a free community service and the schedule varies seasonally. (
