Thank you so much Lisa for sharing your cottage. The home is very well stocked and well maintained. My family was very comfortable during our stay. The views on the water are beautiful and the fire pit at night was great for our family. This cottage made for a great place to explore nearby Cave Point County Park and Whitefish Dunes State Park one day and Green Bay attractions another day. Lisa was very easy to communicate with and gave fantastic area recommendations. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this property and homeowner!

Wonderful break from EAA Airventure in OshKosh!
We took a couple of days off from the EAA Airventure in OshKosh to drive over to the cottage and I was so happy we did! We were so excited when we arrived with how beautiful the cottage was. The view was amazing!! I don't think I have ever stayed in a place that was so clean and well stocked. We took advantage of Lisa's extensive list of restaurants and thing to do. We hiked at Potawatomi State Park and spent the day in Sturgeon Bay. Every restaurant that we ate at was amazing, both in Sturgeon Bay and the ones that were close to the Cottage. I can't express what a true vacation this was in such a beautiful Cottage with such a beautiful view!

Our family stayed for a week in Lisa's cottage and this place was amazing! Lisa and Steve were excellent hosts and were quick to respond to anything we had questions about or needed. The cottage is very nicely updated and clean making this the perfect "home away from home" that we needed for our us and our young children. The master bedroom is huge and the second bedroom was perfect for the kids. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The front yard is huge and the backyard provided beautiful views of the bay and gorgeous sunsets! We would love to stay here again some day!
Thank you so much, Kristi, for the wonderful review and for coming to stay at the cottage! It was such an honor to host you and your family. You were terrific guests! We would love to host you again at any time in the future. Thanks again!! Lisa
Wonderful setting and accommodations
My wife and I enjoyed an absolutely wonderful time at this shore line cottage. The views from the lawn, great room, dining area and kitchen are simply beautiful. The upgrades and remodeling are evident throughout the home. Lisa and her husband were terrific hosts and most accommodating including a welcoming basket of chocolates and local wine upon our arrival. The kitchen is modern and well stocked, and all the furnishings very comfortable. We made good use of the gas grill and the firewood they provided for the fireplace and firepit. We enjoyed using their canoe on the bay and biking some of the local county and side roads near their home as well as the Ahnapee State Trail. We hope to be back.
Thank you so much, Tom, for your great review! I am so happy that you and your wife enjoyed your visit, and that you had a wonderful time. I can't think of better guests to have hosted than the both of you! You were so considerate, and your excellent communication made my job an easy one. I would love to have you stay again at any point in the future. Thank you again for the honor of being your host! Lisa
Wonderful lake house.
We loved the week we spent in Luxemburg. Lisa had everything we needed in her cute lake house. It was very neat and clean and the location is great being so close to Sturgeon Bay and other small towns that were fun to check out. We would recommend this rental and hope to visit again. Thanks again Lisa.
Thank you, Marti! It was such a pleasure hosting you and your family! You were very considerate guests, and I would love to host you again in the future!
A peaceful getaway in a beautiful lakefront location with spectacular accommodations
My significant other and I stayed in this recently renovated cottage over Memorial Day Weekend. Lisa gave detailed instructions for both getting to the house and getting into the house which made our late-night arrival a breeze. Immediately we saw that everything looked spotless and that the interior had recently been updated. As it was one of the first really warm weekends of the year, we were happy that the AC had been turned on prior to our arrival! The next morning when we were able to see our lake view for the first time, we were amazed and enjoyed coffee and breakfast in chairs by the water. The location was very peaceful and any neighbors around us were quiet. Lisa checked in with us via messaging throughout our stay to make sure everything was going okay and to see if we needed anything, but the house already had everything we could need! I was particularly impressed by the space in the bedroom and living room, and the second bedroom was a little tight but would be perfect for accommodating kids or additional guests. The house was a perfect home base for exploring Door County. We drove a short few minutes to explore Sturgeon Bay one day and also took a longer trip to a few other towns for a kayak tour and dinner. Both nights of our stay we had drinks and watched the sunset from the living room window. Overall it was a perfect getaway from Chicagoland for the weekend and we wish we could have stayed longer! Definitely will consider staying again. Thanks again for everything!
Thank you so much, Kaitlyn! I'm so happy that you both had a great time, and that the cottage was a perfect getaway for you! You were wonderful guests and it was such an honor to host you. Come back again if you are in the area.
