Quit, nice and convenient weekend getaway. Lots of beds and amenities.
15 minutes to Schlitterbahn and cheap rent for a great family place. You could sleep 10 people if you wanted to.
We will come back to this place!
We came to McQueeney from Cotulla Tx for our sons wedding. This was the perfect place for us. It's in a nice quiet area where you can sit outside any time of the day and just relax. The house is very comfortable, warm and cozy. Makes you feel like your at home. Will recommend this to our friends just looking for a getaway. This will be our home away from home when we go visit Chris and Tracey. Perfect, Perfect, Perfect in every way.
Thanks Kelly for everything.

Hope to see you soon.
Nice spacious town home.
Clean & well equipped, close to a lake but you have to be a member to access. Overall a very nice place to relax. About 20 min. drive to New Braunfels to float the river.
Condition of unit.
When we arrived, the ac was not working. It was calling for 82, but was actually 84 in the unit. We called and an ac man was dispatched pretty quickly. He found the problem, and went about trying to find the part that was needed. He did say that if it was not actual problem, then the ac unit would have to be replaced.
When we checked the refrigerator, it did not seem to be cold enough. We called the next day and an ac man was dispatched and the problem was solved. Fortunately, no food was lost.
I was very disappointed that there were only sheets on the beds in 2 of the bedrooms, and no towels in the bathrooms. I did find a bedspread for the twin bed off the master, but that room has no ac, so was not really useable.
I did find blankets for all of the beds in the linen closets.
The tile in the 2nd bath is horrible. It is all broken around the tub.
We took baths on saturday evening. After the 1st shower and 1 bath, the hot water gave out. We had no time to wait for it to reheat, so the rest of us took a luke warm shower. Apparently the hot water heater is not large enough to handle a 7 person group.
In addition, there was a lot of owner personal item in the unit. In the master, there was used items of shampoo, baby shampoo, adult shampoo and conditioner.
The drawers had many personal items and the closets also had many personal items.
The other closets were the same. The large closet downstairs was full of personal items.
The garage was not useable. The garage door opener had been dismantled and not useable. Therefore, the only parking was on the street.
I was very disappointed with the closing of the McQuinney house instructions:
This included washing the sheets, drying them and putting them back on the beds. Washing the towels and drying and putting in the linen closets.
We were also told to vacumn. We did after the 1st ac visit, which left a mess.
I am wondering what the cleaning fee was supposed to be used for. We were told to shut off all water and leave the ac at 82.
Make sure that we got rid of all trash. We had to find a trash receptacle for this a distance from the unit.
We were also told that there was a pool. We could not find a pool and we looked very hard.
I will rent again through the agency, but not this house.
It should have been looked over more carefully before we arrived, although Kelley was very good about getting service people there very quickly to solve the ac and refrigerator problems.
