Stay in this magical tower designed by renowned architect Suzanne Allen-Guerra. Featured in architectural competitions, this house is a jewel-box in the midst of mind-blowing natural beauty. Custom Navajo Artisan features make this a thoughtfully-crafted art piece.
Approximately 400 square feet, round, this studio with full bath’s construction is post and beam. Eco-friendly straw bale insulation, gives it 18" sills on the interior which provide display areas with a backdrop of scenery. The windows frame dramatic views of bluffs, changing light throughout the day, and gifts you with starviews at night.
The desert is no environment for the drying effect of air-conditioning. The tower has an evaporative cooler to keep the air moist for happy breathing.
Blessed by a medicine man, this space is a creative joy and a healing solace nestled in a small community.

Our guests have an off-the-beaten path experience with all the finest amenities.
You have the path-area to your studio, a patio, and the tower with a locking door, and lock box. A table for two to have a drink outside in the evening, or coffee and tea in the morning are yours alone in the patio. If you have coolers, or other gear that you'd rather not take to your room, there are large shelves for your personal use next to the stairs. There's also a staging area for camping equipment.
We welcome everyone, anyone, who has a good heart. Please leave anger and aggravation at the door. Who needs it? This is a place of peace and happiness. Make the most of it!
You must be able to, quite safely, climb stairs.
Here, if you can dream it, you can do it! The studio is on a private road with two other houses. You will be at the base of Comb Ridge, and near the wash --- explore the wash and you will see, literally hundreds of, ruins. Wander through them, and take care. They are precious.
You're also an easy drive to Monument Valley; rafting or playing on the San Juan River is just 1 mile away; Sand Island Petroglyphs is three miles; accessible to Mesa Verde, Hovenweep, and Arches. Great bicycling and hiking country! Or, start a new painting. Finish that book!
