CONTACT US FOR SHORTER STAYS.
Come for the view, the beach, and the sound of the waves against the shore. The scenic river valley near Lake City forms a beautiful basin, named Lake Pepin. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath house is located in a quiet, serene neighborhood. A fourth bedroom/den offers additional sleeping space and a large patio has stepping stones that lead you to the pebble beach where you can fish, play, build a camp fire or just relax and enjoy the sound of the waves hitting the shore.
Upstairs: 3 bedrooms, 3 baths
Master - Renovated with floor to ceiling windows to capture the lake view from the king size bed. 8'x8' walk in closet is attached and the master bath includes a double bowl vanity bath with luxury two-person shower.
Bedroom #2: large, 16 x 18 room with a lake view, king bed and twin day bed
Bunk room: Queen bed with extra long twin bunk bed and twin size pull out mattress under the queen (ideal for kids).
Bath: Renovated soaking tub/shower and vanity
Den/Bedroom #4: A double barn door closes this room off for privacy. It houses a queen size mattress in a Murphy/wall bed, sectional leather sofa and a 3/4 bath is just two steps down and a few steps away.
Open concept living room/dining room/den: 12 foot double opening patio door gives you that indoor/outdoor feel. The large farmhouse table seats 12 when expanded, and large L-shaped kitchen works well for groups and gatherings. The living room sectional sofa has a large ottoman and, when pushed together, forms a queen size bed, or separate the sectional for two "twin" size sleeping areas. Foam mattress topper is provided for additional comfort in the living room (much better than a pull out bed).
Outdoor living: walk out to the large paver patio with fire pit and Weber grill and follow the stepping stones down to the pebble rock beach for swimming fun, fishing, or just sit and listen to the waves. The beach has a nice, shallow slope, and is great for wading and swimming with very low current. We recommend water shoes to make swimming and wading more fun. The beach is a peaceful place for morning coffee or a great spot for an evening camp fire.
