Apartment was fantastic
Irene's apartment was terrific. The views were beautiful and the apartment was well appointed. Irene was a great host and after checking, she went to the market and purchased coffee, fruit and milk for us. She lives in the building and was available for questions. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning for our next trip to Rome.
Romantic stay in Rome
A lovely apartment just skirting central Rome. Walking distance to the Vatican and surrounding interests. We drove in by car and this location was great and had parking right in front. Irene met us and took us up to the 4th floor suite. There are good stairs but also a small lift for suitcases. We had a beautiful view of the city and the Bascillica. The apartment was well equipped with modern conveniences and basic condiments. Irene left us a beautiful basket of fruit. The space is quite large with 2 good sized bedrooms, one with queen bed and the other ahide a bed. The shower is beautiful but tight if you are large ☺. We enjoyed the fireworks from the balcony. A very nice stay.
Great place for a couple or group of friends
This apartment has spectacular views of Rome day and night. It is located on a hill which makes the vantage point unbelievable. There were four of us - two couples and we each had a private bedroom with bathroom so we could keep our own schedules without disturbing each other. Also, staying just a walk or short cab ride out of the heart of the tourist area means there are great local places to eat and shop. We truly enjoyed our stay here and walked mostly everywhere with some taxi rides here and there in between. We arrived by car and it was easy to park on the street out front of the building. We kept it parked there for the majority of our stay.
Irene was easy to communicate with and responded attentively when we needed her. We had an issue with the washing machine and when we told her about it she came over and got our clothes and washed them for us! I would definitely recommend staying here.
The views of this property make the uphill walks completely worth it.The home is large and beautiful
I gave this property 5 stars, because it is completely worth it. That being said, just a little background on our experience. I tore my ACL shortly before the trip, so long walking trips were difficult. The property is a little further from the metro/Vatican area than we anticipated. It's also VERY uphill towards the end. Therefore, if you have large luggage, take the bus, or a cab from the metro. We also didn't know how to contact Irene when we arrived, as there wasn't public wifi near the complex. We were so exhausted, hot, and felt a little defeated. HOWEVER, Irene met us early, well before normal check in time, and she did eventually come down and find us. She was our saving grace, and we are forever greatful for our experience at her lovely home. She helped us up the elevator, and when she opened the door it was like walking into paradise. Her place is clean, a mixture of bohemian modern, and SO spacious. Due to the space, we felt like we were in a private oasis and passed a lot of time at the home. The view was just breataking both day and night. We watched the sunset, and enjoyed drinks together while talking about our day. Irene made us feel so welcome. She not only had some pizza in the refrigerator waiting for us, but she also went to the market and picked up some delicious essentials. I made the most delicious caprese salad with the tomatoes, mozzarella, and balsamic she provided. The coffee was strong and the perfect start the morning. The amenities to this home are staggering. Everything has been well remodeled, the A/C is cold, the fans are wonderful, the kitchen is perfect, the Wifi it fast, and the bathrooms are beautiful. I could go on for pages on the delightfulness of this place. Therefore, while the location is a little difficult for someone physically challenged, and getting into the home was difficult (it was really our fault), We would tell anyone to stay here. Within minutes of arriving, we completely forgot our qualms and frustration, and became lost In the beauty of the views and amenities. Irene is a perfect hostess, and she even helped us call a cab the morning we departed. If you are looking for your own private oasis with space to relax, THIS is the place for you. Thank you Irene!
VistasuRoma is Amazing!
We loved staying at this apartment! It was so spacious for my daughter and me! We loved the convenience of having the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to spread out a little and feel more at home. The balcony was incredible! We sat out there every morning before beginning our day and every evening at the end of it. Sunsets and night views were just as impressive as the early morning views with the birds singing. Walk to the Vatican was 20 minutes. Gelato down the street delicious and plenty of little restaurants right in the neighborhood which were so delicious! We definitely got our walking in while we were there! We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay in Rome. Irene was especially helpful to us and easily reachable during our stay. She even left us a few food items in the fridge, such as fresh fruit, bread and juice, which was great! If we return to Rome, we would definitely check to see if this property is available!
Living Local - Perfectly
My wife and I stayed 3 nights at VistuaRoma and we could not be more pleased with the experience. The apartment was perfectly equipped for four people with two generous bedrooms, a good sized living room with spectacular views of Rome, and a well stocked kitchen. We loved stopping by a market each day to pick up fresh food for our meals and then eating them on the balcony in great comfort and relaxation. Our host could not have been more kind or accommodating. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well ordered. We cannot wait to stay here again!
