About Mary Anderson
This property is locally owned by a lifelong Savannah resident and managed by Mary Anderson with Savannah Luxury Rentals. Enjoy staying in a home that is recently renovated and cared for by both the owner and the manager.
Why Mary Anderson chose Beach Institute
Savannah's Historic District is a one square mile area in which there are diverse homes from mansions to cottages to high rises. We are famous for being a walking city and this little cottage is such an easy place to call home!
What makes this Cottage unique
Parking is free on the street! While it is first come first served you will find it is rarely necessary to park even as far away as a hotel room door from a typical hotel parking lot. This is a laid back residential part of downtown where you will not have to fight for a spot.

This house is a gem.
This house is a gem. We have come to Savannah over the holidays four times In the last five years. The place we stayed the first 3 times is no longer a vacation home so we had to look for another place.
So glad we found this place as it’s just what we like. Quiet neighborhood, walking distance to everything. The place was very clean. The kitchen has everything you need.
The online pictures don’t quite do it justice. It’s very cozy. We loved sitting on the cushy chair. The rooms are a nice size. The decor is lovely.
The back patio area is very private and we loved sitting out there.
Most of the time we were able to park right in front of the house.
The booking process was seamless. We really really love this house, the owners seem to take very good care of it. We hope to be back next year!
Comfort of home
Perfect place for us we had a great time and the place was comfortable would definitely recommend
Everything as listed.
We had a wonderful stay in the cottage. Clean and neat and convenient to downtown Savannah.
This little house was the perfect retreat for me and my friends. Three of us stayed here and all of us loved it. You can walk to some areas like St Johns Cathedral and The Trafalgar Fountain. Enjoyed it so much. Thank you for a great trip.
Quaint little place. Off the main path.
Clean. Comfortable. Felt like home.
Great Little Cottage
This is a great place to stay if ever you visit Savannah! Very clean and updated. There was a small problem with sugar ants but all and all a great place to stay I would definitely recommend it!
You can walk to multiple restaurants, shops, museums, one large downtown supermarket (Kroger) and several small local food stores from this location, all within one mile of the cottage. There is also a Farmer's Market in Forsyth Park on Saturdays. Forsyth Park is like the central park of downtown Savannah and boasts a nice public tennis court and a basketball court. Less than 7 miles away from this downtown area you will find a mall, public golf course, 2 major hospitals, 3 movie theaters and other major shopping center stores such as Target and Publix.
