Travel is my passion. Learning about other cultures, and seeing the world with eyes wide open is what I live for. I am also a nature lover and love to be near the ocean and breath in the ocean air and beach comb for hours, snorkel, swim day or night (efflorescence night swim is a must), kayak, fish and set crab traps, and hike. Walking among the tall Douglas fir trees, picking wild berries (sweet, black enormous blackberries and strawberries are in abundance here) picking wild mushrooms, admiring the cascade of wild flowers growing in the area, or hiking down to the river and going for a refreshing dip. These are just a few of the things that are right out your front and back door. I am also a foodie, and it just doesn’t get any fresher or better than on the Island. Even the local food and pub establishments will often have their own gardens (farm to table) or get their meat and fish locally in order to serve you Island fare. Your whole body and soul will feel healthy, rejuvenated and alive after being here. The natural exercise because they is so much to see and do without driving anywhere, an abundance of vitamins from the produce, BC fruit, and the Vitamin D from all the sunshine, and just the tranquility of touching base with Mother Nature again.
Irene purchased this Condo in 2016
Why Irene chose North Oyster
Canada is the most beautiful country in the world. I am an avid traveller and have seen more than 62 countries around the world, but there is no place like Canada and exploring your own backyard. I purchased this property because there is no better place to rejuvenate your mind, body and soul than here. When I am here, I am just simply happy, happy, happy, When I leave here, I feel like I can take on the world until the next time, which is always booked and schedule before I leave.
What makes this Condo unique
There is so much to do, so much to explore and the only thing lacking is not enough hours in the day to get in all that Island life has to offer. But I guess that's good because you leave here ready to book your next trip back here. It just doesn't get any better!

We highly recommend this condo. A perfect location to travel the whole island. My teenage boys had the upstairs room. Lots to do outside with the beach area, pool and hot tub. And Irene was awesome! Always in communication and we had everything we needed. We will definitely come back!
Whole process was smooth. Owner was active and helpful making sure we have received all information. Pool and hot tub by the sea was exactly what we were looking for. Our family is 2+3. Two bedrooms and sofabed was good for our needs.
The unit was perfect for our family of four. Would highly recommend.
View of the water
We had a wonderful time. The condo was very clean and everything we needed was there. It was located where we could easily drive to many things.
Booked again, Fabulous Holiday!!!
We took our grandchildren here for a holiday and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. It is a great resort for both the young and the "Maturing" . The location is gorgeous, and the ocean views from our condo, hot tub and pool area were stunning, and exactly like the pictures. Lots of activities right on site for all of us to do, and lots within the area. Irene gave us really good information where to get groceries, restaurants to check out, and walking trails. ) Great communicative host! The condo was fabulous and had everything we could have wanted. We also loved that it was on ground level and we were steps away from the pool to the front patio, and straight into the condo. It was easy to keep tabs on the grandchildren. I'd highly recommend this condo to anyone. It was such a fabulous holiday, we've already booked again!!!
This is an amazing place! Our family enjoyed a restful week and will definitely come again.
This condo was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We loved all the different opportunities on the grounds: beach access, hot tub, tennis, bbq, fire pit, etc. Our trips to Ladysmith were also enjoyable with the bakery and shops. Another highlight was a dinner at the Crow and Gate English Pub - great food and atmosphere. This place is a hidden gem - very glad we spent our spring break here.
