Fill your days with downhill runs, inner tubing on the lake, and leisurely strolls through wildflower-laden trails when you book your next retreat to this South Lake Tahoe home. With an ideal location that puts you in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, this home gives you easy access to local attractions and hiking trails.
Three-and-a-half miles from Heavenly Mountain Resort and just over four miles from Harvey's Lake Tahoe Resort, you'll be able to hit the slopes and slots without having to go too far. During the winter months, we recommend using a 4x4 vehicle to access the home safely.
Vaulted wood-beamed ceilings and a plush carpet frame the expansive main living area and welcome you in for a relaxing stay. Cuddle up next to the wood-burning stove while the private washer/dryer takes care of the dirty laundry. Check out what's on cable on the flatscreen TV, or make some popcorn to watch a DVD with the whole crew.
Kick back on the deck and take in the tree-lined views as you let yourself slip into vacation mode. You can use the free WiFi to map out a few hikes everyone will love before you head back inside to get started on dinner.
In the fully equipped kitchen, you'll find a convenient gas range, microwave, and a breakfast bar, perfect for serving dinner on. Gather around the casual dining room table and then break out a deck of cards to play games well into the night, while the dishwasher cleans up the mess from dinner.
This three-bedroom home will host up to eight guests and all bedrooms are upstairs. In the master, you'll find an inviting queen-size bed, a twin, an en suite bathroom with a soaking tub, and deck access. The second bedroom also has another queen and twin bed, while the third room has two twin beds. There is a full guest bath upstairs with a tub and shower and a half-bath downstairs.
During the colder months, you'll have a plenty of wintertime fun at your fingertips! Make the quick trip to Heavenly to get the kids some lessons from a pro at the Ski School, while you shred the fresh powder on the challenging downhill runs. Afterward, take everyone out to a German-style meal at Himmel Haus.
When the temperatures warm up, hit the trails to explore the alpine scenery among the towering trees. Rent a boat to get out on the lake to do a little water skiing or fishing in the crystal-blue waters. If you want to work on your swing, book a tee time at the Bijou Municipal Golf Course.
Come dive into the wide array of adventures that highlight the best of every season when you book your next vacation to this Lake Tahoe retreat!

About Vacasa, CA - Lake Tahoe Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers. Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team. Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Lots of room for family
House is in a nice quiet neighborhood. If you're looking for something that is blocks away from services, then this house is not for you.
If you're looking for matchy matchy furniture, this isn't the place for you.
It is a nice large house with plenty of room to spread out if you have a large family.
Kitchen has a nice selection of pots, pans, utensils & dishware, so you shouldn't be lacking for anything.
Our only complaint, we are pillow top mattress sleepers and the mattresses currently in the house are hard. So if you like soft mattresses, these beds are not for you. We ended up purchasing a mattress topper to use for our stay.
Bring your own hairdryer and linens. Was musty and old.
Very comfortable home yo stay
It is a very confortable and quiet place. It is a nice place to stay and has a lot of space to stay with your family.
be aware of dogs
Very clean and well equipped cabin in nice and quite neighborhood but close to everything. Except neighbor had two aggressive dogs covering the back of property and wouldn't stop barking at us . Not on leash so there is no outside use of deck.
