Convenient, clean, lovely hosts~
Convenient to Asheville, Black Mountain and best of all.....lots of beautiful hiking trails.
Communication re rental was great. Driveway a bit steep for low car and no problem because there is room to park below the apartment and the walk is a breeze. Will definitely return if available when I'm in the area.
Cozy Mountain Retreat
We loved everything about this place! Host was TOP notch... Felt like home with one exception - 5 out of the 7 windows had no curtains/blinds.
All of the windows into which anyone could see have curtains. The window above the kitchen sink, two head high windows that are 30 feet above the ground with a mountain view on the South facing wall do not have curtains. One neck high window in the bedroom that faces the forest does not have a curtain (no access to walking on the outside here). And the front door is glass and therefore has no "curtain" . As Sunset Porch is located in a private area with it's own driveway above the level of any other houses we chose to leave the mentioned windows without a curtain because it allows the home to be filled with natural light and allows for mountain views.
We absolutely loved our time at this cabin! Great communication with the host, and an adorable comfortable place to stay! Less then five minutes from the town of Black Mountain. We loved walking around and visiting the shops and restaurants in the town. Also very close to Asheville and all it has to offer. Great distance from awesome hiking spots as well! We will be back for sure!
Great place to stay!
Great little guest house very cozy and the owners are awesome. My only complaints are no internet and no curtains or blinds on any Windows except one in the bedroom. Other than that it was a great stay and we had a great time!
