Log Cabin for rent. " This place is a hidden Gem"

Privacy, next to woods, amazing wildlife, lots of extras. We had no trouble finding the place even though it is in the middle of nowhere, and were very excited to see it was just what we envisioned. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The pool table was lots of fun. Beautiful kitchen and laundry. Very comfy bed in the master and fantastic shower. We planned ahead and took food and didn't have to make the trip into town. We went up to Garden of the Gods one day and loved it - well worth the trip. No internet and cell phone connection was a little spotty, but that was no problem for us. It is a great place to unwind, relax and recharge.

I can't say enough about this home! The property is secluded and serene with plenty of wildlife to enjoy. The weather was hot so the pool was amazing! The home itself has plenty of room for people to not run into each other. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. I loved that there was a full size washer and dryer so I didn't have to worry about laundry when I got home. The kitchen was stocked with just about everything you could need. Tana and Jimmy had the fridge stocked with water, snacks on the counter, and two complimentary bottles of wine for us! We are already talking about coming back next year! Thank you both so much for opening your home to us!

This was our second year here and we enjoyed it as much as the first. Tana and Jimmy are amazing hosts. You can tell they put their hearts into making a pleasant stay. Our first night we always eat at Mellow Mushroom Pizza in Paducah before getting groceries. Excellent pizza! Garden of the Gods is a great place to visit. Ours boys love going to Bell Smith Springs and jumping off of the rocks into the swimming hole. Many nights were enjoyed grilling and swimming. Our 5 year learned to swim in the deep end and do front flips this year. Although a little scary for me it was exciting to see his eyes light up when he accomplished it. I enjoyed mornings sitting on the front porch watching the hummingbirds. We also enjoyed watching the deer come in to eat some apples. I cannot say enough about the experiences we’ve had here. Thank you Tana and Jimmy for having a great getaway for us to visit. We will be back next year if not sooner. We would like to try the wine trails next time. Maybe an anniversary trip for the two of us in September.

We stayed for 3 nights over the 4th of July holiday and enjoyed every minute. The house is furnished nicely and is very spacious. We got a lot of use out of the swimming pool, hot tub and pool table. The cabin is secluded and quiet which makes it very easy to relax. We would love to return someday and would definitely recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Tana & Jimmy are such wonderful people and they have done an amazing job at making this cabin as peaceful and relaxing as possible. From the pool to just float around in and the hot tub that will surely take all those day to day stresses away, they have thought of everything! They've even supplied the little things like bottles of water in the fridge and shampoo/conditioner and body wash in the showers, the list goes on and on. They truly have made this cabin your home away from home!

A few things you're sure to see during your stay are the multiple deer eating from the apple trees in the front yard and the hummingbirds hanging around the feeders by the front porch, it all truly is natures beauty at its finest.

The pool table is a nice option for those rainy days and downtime as well as the DirectTV and DVD player. There isn't any wifi available but I don't think you or your kids will even notice since there are so many other things to do here.

There are also several trails to hike as well but unfortunately due to weather we were not able to go hiking so we hope to be able to do some hiking during our next visit.
