There is a lovely 'internal garden' as you enter this gated community and approach the apartment.
All towels and linen is provided within the cost incl. tea towels and bath mats. The property is cleaned thoroughly between bookings and for longer lets interim cleans are arranged at a reasonable additional charge.
The property is fully air-conditioned and has cool marble floors throughout. The site's pool is safe and very clean and the extensive gardens are equipped with sun loungers. The community is suitable for families with children and elderly guests also. There is easy access to public transport, shops and restaurants. This is a non-smoking apartment.
Although this is a garden apartment with access through patio doors to gardens are, it is not designed for wheelchair access except for the community entrance.
There are 2 private gardens each equipped with table. One has terrace and pergola. Also 6 rattan style chairs and a parasol and barbecue. Gardens are secluded and lead out to beautiful community garden. Tennis court available free.

We've just returned from a lovely 2 week holiday in Calahonda.
We booked our apartment with Chris and Anne and have to say that they are the best owners we have ever dealt with. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so attentive to our needs for a trouble free holiday from start to finish.
The apartment is ideally located in Calahonda in close proximity to shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. It's also only a short 5 minute walk to the beaches.
We used the large communal pool most of the time and it's literally feet from the rear apartment garden. The pool and gardens are well kept and there is also a small pool for the kids.
The apartment is fully furnished and has everything you will need. It is a ground floor apartment but is very secure with decorative gates and window security. There is also a small safe for the use of residents.
Calahonda itself is quite small and relatively quiet so suited us well. However public transport to Fuengirola or Marbella is easily accessible and if you hire a car then Gibraltar and Ronda are just over an hour away. Mijas which is a lovely traditionally Spanish village is only about 20 minutes away.
If you need a comfortable relaxing environment to enjoy your holiday and recharge your batteries then we very much recommend a booking with Chris and Anne.

We booked this apartment as the second week of a holiday in Andalucía and travelled from our first week in the mountains to meet up with Pete. The "meet and greet" service was very useful and the return transfer to the airport worked very well.
Everything worked well with all the comforts of home (and more). It was lovely to have the choice of sun or shade depending on time of day and side of the apartment.
The pool was lovely and warm and rarely busy. We made the short trip from the garden regularly to cool off.
We'd arranged to give back our hire car after the first couple of days - we'd hired from the airport with a company with an office in Calahonda which was very useful. There were plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance and the supermarket was well stocked for breakfast and lunch in the garden.
The air conditioning was very welcome on a couple of occasions.
Chris did a great job of keeping in touch before and after our trip and obviously takes great pride in his property.
We hope to return again soon.

We've rented in this area for 10 years and this one ticks all the boxes. The location is the best we've had so far. Close proximity to restaurants, supermarkets, bank/atm , pharmacy. No need to hire a car. Calahonda beach a few mins walk away but Cabopino beach is our favorite in the area.The ground floor apt is 2 bed, 2 bath, kitchen, sit room with sofa bed, 2 gardens. Suits family of 4 or 6 at a push. The owner rang us twice before we arrived and again after we got home(no one ever did that before!) and he was genuinely concerned that we would be happy with his apartment. We were, and we hope to visit again in the future.

Our first visit to Medina, Calahonda but hopefully not the last. We had a fabulous family time with my daughter and her two boys. The apartment was very comfortable, well equipped and the gardens and pool gave us all hours of fun and relaxation. Two minutes away is a courtyard of really good restaurants and a few steps to a good well stocked supermarket. Calahonda is perfectly situated for visiting many other fun, interesting places.

Spent our summer holiday here at Medina Apartment No 1 in July this year. This is our 3rd visit to the apartment and certainly won’t be our last. It’s like being home from home, we absolutely love it, AND…… so do the kids! Wi-Fi a bonus! From booking until the end of the holiday, there are no worries. Chris and Ann are really helpful and very assuring. Nothing is too much trouble, everything is covered. The apartment has everything you need, with lots of information provided of the surrounding area, from places to visit/restaurants etc… to bus timetables…. PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING TO BE HONEST! The apartment is lovely, clean and airy; we love just sitting in the morning sun on the veranda having breakfast, nice and peaceful. The pool is literally a stone’s throw from the garden which is great, plus there’s no great fight for sunbeds! Half the time there was just a handful of people there making the whole experience nice and chilled. Just across the road from the complex is El Zoco which has loads of restaurants to eat at… La Mandragora is one of our favourites. There’s a supermarket down there as well as the post office and lots of shops. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this apartment to couples and families alike. The complex is lovely, very secure and extremely close to all amenities. Many thanks again to Chris & Ann for allowing us to stay in your lovely apartment. WE WILL BE BACK!

Just returned from a two week holiday staying in Medina Number One. We found the apartment very well appointed and extremely comfortable - especially the air con as the weather was very hot. The kitchen is very well equipped if wishing to eat in. From the date of booking the apartment Chris and Ann were very helpful.
