This finely renovated home was originally part of the historic coal mining town of Lynch, Kentucky, named for U.S. Steel President Thomas A. Lynch renowned as the "Father if Mine Safety". The area is rich in history and outdoor beauty.
This home is well-appointed with brand new furnishings, granite counter tops, a new smart TV, and has a porch and patio with a grape arbor, and meticulous landscaping.
There is a fully-furnished kitchen with dining area, sun room, three bedrooms (1 Queen, 1 Queen, 2 Twins), two full baths, and a living area with ample seating. There is also a porch and patio. This home is perfect for a family of 6 or combination of couples.
Local attractions include the Portal 31 Underground Exhibition Mine Tour, the Benham Coal Mining Museum, the highest point in Kentucky atop Big Black Mountain, hiking, fishing and picnicking at Kingdom Come State Park, a number of children's playgrounds and breathtaking views, including spectacular fall foliage and an abundance of wildlife including whitetail deer, elk, black bear, and wild turkey.
History and hiking, as well as some of the best trout fishing in the region are available to our guests.
