Stunning views and peaceful location!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the end of March. Mike and Betty are awesome and thoughtful hosts, and the cottage is equipped with everything you need for your stay! Mornings and evenings were absolutely gorgeous with mountain and farm views and a deck for sipping coffee. We went into town for both breakfast and dinner, a short 15-20 minute drive, and hiked in Pisgah Forest during the days. It was a perfect stay! Highly recommend for both couples and families looking for a quiet getaway.

Country Cottage=Beautiful Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint cottage. The mountain view along with the rolling hills of pasture land made each morning special as we drank our coffee on the porch. The location was perfect as it was not too far from all the area has to offer: Biltmore, Blue Ridge Parkway, Chimney Rock State Park, and some of the best barbecue just to name a few. (The Stable Cafe’ at the Biltmore was excellent as well as Pack’s Tavern!) The Arnotts were very hospitable. When we arrived our first evening, roses and chocolates were waiting for us! We had mentioned that we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary in our correspondence with them. Asheville is definitely one of our favorite places now.

very well kept

  • 5 of 5

We could not have been happier with tour stay. Mike and Betty showed us the ultimate Southern hospitality and genuinely nice people. We “bothered :-)” them every morning to gather the horses, so our daughter can feed them (Blondie, Sky and Niña) carrots and apples. The scenery was breathtaking. A++++

Amazing View! Very clean and a lot of amenities!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was fantastic! I imagine it would be hard to find a better deal in the area. We were met promptly when we arrived. The view is breathtaking! The deck is a great place to have a cup of coffee in the morning or read in the afternoon. When clear, the view of the sunset is perfect. The cottage is set at the end of a road, so extremely quiet and private. Our child loved seeing the horses every morning. A lot of clean towels and extra amenities with a ton of space for a family of 4!

It is so convenient to get to all the sights around Asheville (i.e. 20 min from Biltmore, the Blue Ridge parkway, and Sierra Nevada Brewing, 12 min from Downtown, and 3 min from a grocery store).

This will be the first place we look to stay when back in the area.
