Beautiful home with peaceful surroundings
Our family absolutely loved our stay. The house was beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammock, sitting on the patio eating dinner, making s’mores on the fire, playing games. We also enjoyed fishing and taking a boat ride to Fat Daddy’s. There is much nature to take in while out on the boat from bald eagles, wild turkeys, to coyotes. We made a lot of memories.
The home is well-appointed and super comfy! Great place to disconnect from the world and spend quality time with family!
Just finished a great time at the lake house.
Lake house was wonderful. I would highly recommend it.
Pleasantly Peaceful and Relaxing
Everything was exactly the same as in the pictures except a boat launch and the walk down to the dock. The house was beautiful inside and had plenty of room for our group of 11. There was plenty of room for everyone to stretch out, relax, play games, or go fishing. If you are looking for a place to get away from the stresses of life, this is definitely a great place to rent and relax in.
A few minor notes: The walk to the dock is extremely taxing and difficult, even for in shape people. There was a not a road sign for Beech Tree Circle nor a house number telling someone they are at the right location. The outside of the house itself was a little disappointing as huge spider webs, leaves, and other items affected your view from the many windows. Also, the bedrooms could use some shades or curtains as the sun shines right in on two of the bedrooms.
Overall, I would definitely rent this place again in a heart beat. The owner was extremely nice and helpful throughout the whole process, even when the power went out twice during two storms. I would recommend this place to anyone who asked.
Excellently maintained accommodation on a quiet, wooded shore of Kentucky Lake
Felt like a home away from it all. Everything that drew me to reserve this property was true to life. The house easily accommodated our 9-member group, and there was still room for more. The house was impeccably maintained. The decor was thoughtful and contributed to the feeling of being away at the lake. Nothing was lacking in the accommodations for us. We enjoyed having multiple activities at the ready (relaxing on the deck or screened porch, playing games including Corn Hole, doing puzzles, peddle-boating, kayaking, viewing sunsets from the dock) and opportunities for outings (Magnolia Bridge as well as day trips to Land Between the Lakes and Nashville). There indeed was an abundance of wildlife in the area. We saw the resident bald eagle fishing for a meal and a whitetail deer cross the property. We anticipated our stay at the The Family House for some time, and the vision of our stay there was fulfilled. Denise was easy to work with and cared about our experience. That was much appreciated!
Family House stay
The house was nice and clean and well taken care of. The kitchen was fully stocked. The lake was nice and quiet and the water was warm.
Our house is located in a very rural area on 2 acres of woods on the lake with a covered dock and private boat ramp. We have floats, a pedal boat, corn hole, real vines to swing from, and many board games. As far as area attractions, Clarksville TN is the closest city about 45 min away. Nashville TN is a two hour drive that is great for a day trip. Our home is a place to get away, take a deep breath and relax.
