About Crystal Comer & Tammy Good

As a team of 2 sisters and lifetime residents of Shenandoah we are proud to be the 4th generation to own Memory Lane Farm. We have worked in this industry for the last 7 years together. We work great as a team. We both are married with 2 children each. Both with a boy and a girl and all teenagers. We enjoy arts and crafts, traveling, and music.

Crystal Comer & Tammy Good purchased this farmhouse in 2017

Why Crystal Comer & Tammy Good chose Shenandoah

It has been in our family for 4 generations. It needed updating and we found ourselves in the midst of renovations and a dream to work a different angle in the vacation rental industry. It is simply perfect for someone who wants to experience the peaceful and scenic country side and absorb all the wonderful things the Shenandoah Valley has to offer. Mountains surrounding the property and rolling hills gives the property an amazing canvas to view 360 degrees. It's impossible not to feel the tranquility of these acres.

What makes this farmhouse unique

The mountain scenery and farm life is something we grew up with and continue on our other properties. It was just natural that we fell in love with the scenery and warm feel of the country side.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Spotlessly Clean, Relaxing Farmhouse Getaway Our family of five stayed at Memory Lane Farm for a long weekend and had a wonderful time! We were in town to visit the Massanutten Waterpark and opted to stay here instead of on the resort, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. We had tons of space to spread out and the farmhouse was SO comfortable. Everything in the house was in immaculate condition and felt brand new. My kids loved the toys, games, and DVDs, and we all loved the hot tub! The DirecTV with DVR was a HUGE bonus as we were able to watch all of the football playoff games after our kids were in bed. We stay in a lot of vacation rentals and find that usually IF there is cable TV, there is almost never DVR. The area is beautiful and we had a great time exploring. We did the Waterpark one day and Skyline Drive and Luray Caverns the next. We had a delicious pizza from Mamma Mia and also enjoyed a great meal at Campfire Grill at Massanutten. Tammy and Crystal responded almost instantaneously to every request I sent. We can’t say enough great things about our stay and the hospitality!

Very cozy!

  • 5 of 5

We spent 2 nights here, and just loved the area. My daughters loved seeing the animals on the farm, the house was very clean and had everything we needed. Easy to find, multiple areas to relax - our favorite were the swings on the front porch. We would definitely stay here again!

Met All of Our Expectations

  • 4 of 5

As soon as we arrived, we were in awe of this quaint and charming home. The homeowners have done an amazing job of making visitors feel welcomed, and had provided items and resources to keep us entertained and occupied. They were available for questions, and simply wonderful to work with from booking to check out. We'd recommend this home to anyone interested in a cozy, relaxing get away.

Lovely farmhouse

  • 5 of 5

This was a lovely very well equipped farmhouse in a quiet country setting. The house was very clean, which means a lot to me and had everything we could have asked for and more. The owners are very lovely people as well. We met them because we had a water issue during our stay and they came right away to take care of the problem. We will definitely stay here again and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in and around Shenandoah, Luray, Harrisonburg Va. etc.

Great home-away- from -home getaway

  • 5 of 5

The listing was as described, but even better. Had everything we needed for a great stay. The kids LOVED the stuffed John Deere tractor & other toys, enjoyed seeing the horse & cows up close, but as city kids, they never tired of jumping in the leaf pile we raked for them. The caverns are a must see. It was a relaxing weekend for the adults as well, & eating dinner on the back porch was a special treat. Look forward to returning soon.

JMU Homecoming Weekend

  • 5 of 5

Our family absolutely LOVED our stay at Memory Lane Farm. We were visiting our child at JMU over homecoming weekend. The drive to campus was only 30 minutes which was perfect for us.The house is very CLEAN, nicely decorated, the beds are very comfortable, and the home is extremely peaceful!

We woke up and had coffee on the large front porch that is surrounded by the mountains and near by farms! We enjoyed our stay so much that we plan on stay here whenever we come back to visit our child at JMU.
