Overview

About the property

Condo, Studio + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4-6)

There's a reason why we have 50+ positive entries in our Guestbook!

You don’t have to travel to Italy to experience Lake Como’s beauty. Our condo in Keystone's Lakeside Village has the Mountains, Lake Views, activities, + the perfect environment for your next mountain vacation.

Our Lakeside Village condo is the largest 1 bedroom studios in Keystone with Mountain and Lake Views. The condo is over 750 sq feet (compared to the average 1 bedroom in Keystone is approx 520 sq feet). Our location is perfect for everyone because it's situated in a serene setting away from the typical crowds in the larger Keystone condominiums, but still only a short walk (1/4 mile) to RiverRun + 2 minute walk to Lakeside Village activities. We should also mention that our Condo only has 24 units divided across 4 sections + only 2 condo units per floor-- avoid crowds, noise, and clutter of River Run!. Bring the family, Kids, and leave your stress behind!

If you are attending a conference in Keystone Conference Center, then you're a 5 minute walk through serene trail. We often have conference attendees stay at our condo throughout the summer and winter, and the location convenience is ideal.

You could stay at RiverRun, but don't forget your ear plugs! Don't be fooled into RiverRun where its crowded, noisy well into the night, tiny condo space + sq footage, no privacy (balconies overlooking balconies), and longer walks to the slopes than advertised. If you enjoy staying in dormitories, check out RiverRun!

Attractions and activities are just a few steps away from our Lakeside condo. Imagine being able to walk outside being in front of your favorite skiing/snowboarding spots, ice skating, biking, hiking, and much, much more. We are part of the Lakeside Village condos, so you are steps away from winter + summer activities.

Do you like to roast marshmallows or smores on a real fireplace? Our condo has a wood burning fireplace to enhance the perfect romantic evening. Free firewood is readily available for instant romance or marshmallowing, and if you run out of wood from our balcony, our service will haul it to your unit on-demand for FREE.

Which do you prefer-- mountain and lake views or looking into someone's balcony? If you prefer the former, our condo has the perfect tranquil setting that you will never forget. Our deck provides views for all ages or enjoy a simple sun spot without the noise of the other condo’s crowds and the privacy of grilling on a balcony without anyone in sight.

You're on vacation and shouldn’t have to wait in line to use the Jacuzzi in a crowded condo building (See RiverRun or Silverthorne). Our Lakeside condo has a full and large recreational facility built for just 24 units! The condo has lots of free amenities and activities including:

• Free Shuttle to Keystone and Breckenridge ski resort directly behind the condo. ( you could walk to Keystone Mountain Base, but the shuttle is just another convenience factor than walking in your ski boots).

• Walking distance to restaurants and shops around the Keystone Lake Village. These are steps away, but located where the noise doesn't impede your privacy like RiverRun.

• Access to Keystone Lake for ice skating in the winter and paddle boats and canoes in the summer. Keystone Adventure Center is only steps away. Keystone Lake is the largest outdoor, zambonie maintained ice skating rink. Its huge! Rockefeller Plaza times 10.

• Large Playgrounds for the children are right behind the condo in large open space area (volleyball courts and mtn bike play park too).

• Biking trails are right outside the condo. Take a trail from our condo all the way to Dillon, Breckenridge, or Frisco.

• Large open space behind the condo.

• Free Wireless, Wired Internet and Cable in Unit. No charge for connectivity and surfing.

• Free Firewood for the fireplace to get the romance started.

• Free Ski lockers to store your equipment.

• Heated pool, Jacuzzi, sauna in a large recreational facility. Feel the relaxation yet?

• DVD, VCR, Stereo, Gas Grill included in unit. Free bag of coffee in unit.

• Access to books, movies, and board games help provide entertainment for everyone.

Bring the whole family! There is a king size bed and a queen size pull out sleeper sofa for all the members of the family, plus they will love the proximity to Keystone Lake and Adventure Center, guaranteed. The fully furnished kitchen has all the comforts of your kitchen at home and every utensil you can imagine. All renters are allowed to store their skis/snowboard in the ski lockers located in the entry way. After a long day on the mountains, enjoy some time in the indoor pool and spa.

This condo is well equipped with all the amenities you will need for your vacation. Have a great time and enjoy your stay. We pride ourselves in guaranteeing your enjoyment and satisfaction.

About Jordan

Avid snowboarder, mountain biker, kayaker, hiker. Love snow and summer sports in the mountains. Also enjoy sailing, water skiing, surfing, snorkeling, running, weightlifting. Big college football fan (Florida Gators). Love my family-- wife, kids, dog!

Jordan purchased this condo in 2005

Why Jordan chose Northwest

I love Keystone and Summit County. In the winter, Keystone is less crowded than other resorts like Breckenridge and Vail, and it is more economical. Keystone has more advanced terrain too, including the Outback Bowls with accessible hike-ins that are still in boundary for the resort. Keystone is the most family friendly resort. In other words, there is something for everyone.

In summer, Keystone has mountain biking trails on the mountain, where you can take the lift up, and choose varying levels of difficulty on the ride down (or you can choose to bike up as well). It is close to Dillon Reservoir for boating and sailing and very accessible to 14'er hikes, water rafting too. There are many festivals throughout the year at Keystone, no matter the season.

I love this place. I wish I could live here full time, but work in Denver calls me back. Send any questions you have, we are here to help and ensure your stay and vacation are perfect.

Ask us how to get you discount lift tickets, equipment rentals, and much more.

What makes this condo unique

Easy access to snowboarding, skiing, mountain biking, hiking. Down the road from Dillon Reservoir for great sailing and boating. In the winter, Lake Keystone becomes a HUGE outdoor ice skating rink. Our dog loves the open space the condo presents, and hiking around Lake Keystone right outside the condo. All our neighbors love dogs too! Large playground and open space for the kids to unwind. East Lake Village (where the condo is) has restaurants, entertainment, arcade for the kids, and many ammenities.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you for our stay here. We enjoyed all the winter activities of skiing, showshoeing, + ice skating. We even went on a sleigh ride in Breckenridge. We had a great time.

Loved this place!

  • 5 of 5

The place is well laid out and has lots of room for 2 people. The fireplace is wonderful and we used it almost every night we were there. It is on the free shuttle route which is very convenient. I highly recommend this place!

Best Value in the Mountains

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon, and we were very happy with the condo, the location, and the ease of use. We chose which ski area to visit based on lodging affordability, so that is how we happened upon this particular rental. Excellent value for us newlyweds, and Keystone was beautiful and great for snowboarding. There are plenty of good places to eat and shop near the condo, and the wood burning fireplace is a nice bonus. I only wish we had planned more time in Keystone, since I don't think we took full advantage of the unit (didn't get to use the kitchen or dining room much, but they're spacious with a nice open feel). There's convenient storage for snowboard/ski equipment. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our family enjoyed several days in the Keystone area over the Thanksgiving weekend and were very pleased with our stay. The condo location was perfect and allowed for easy access into River Run as well as Brekenridge. The wood burning fireplace was awesome and getting to enjoy the holiday with our four-legged family member made it even more special!! Owner was very responsive and helpful with our pre-planning and overall our experience was top notch!

Great value

  • 4 of 5

This review is a year overdue but after looking into our next get away, I still come back to this one. We are a family of 5 with a dog and are not too familiar with the ski slopes yet after moving to Colorado Springs a year ago. We really enjoyed this condo, it is moreso an efficiency but plenty of room for my husband and i and three kids ages 5, 8, 11. We spent last Thanksgiving here and are thankful for the great price, the bus stop right outside the front of our condo that takes us to the slopes and the nice quiet view with wonderful trails for our dog and easy access to the ice skating rink. Like another reviewer said, there is some wear and tear in regards to the bathroom and living room but all in all you just cant beat this price and location and we could care less about furniture and decor as long as the place is clean which it was! we will definitely be planning another trip soon!

Comfortable and cozy

  • 5 of 5

This is a great studio condo! It was clean, comfortable, and very cozy for my husband and I and our dog. The south facing location was great, and the trees that are shown by the decks in the picture are no longer there, so the view isn’t restricted at all. Our dog especially loved sitting on the deck watching the world go by. The wood-burning fireplace was awesome – we had a fire every night. Kitchen was also very nice. We stayed at the end of September and found out that some of the restaurants in the area had closed down right before we arrived, in order to get ready for ski season. So that was a bummer but didn’t take away from the great condo experience. The aspens were absolutely gorgeous in Keystone and the surrounding areas – definitely recommend going in the Fall in case you’re not into skiing.
