A 3 bedroom Gothic fantasy of bricks and spires

Big Ben, Tower Bridge, the Natural History Museum – all are visual icons of London, built by Victorians whose aspirations knew no boundaries - but those are not for rent. With them sits St Pancras Chambers, a gothic fantasy of bricks and spires.

The building, designated as a national historic landmark (Grade 1 listed) incorporates the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel (5 star Marriott), St Pancras Chambers (private apartments such as this) and Kings Cross St Pancras underground and train station below - the most interconnected train hub in London (6 tube lines inc direct access to Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton airports plus direct trains to Edinburgh, Paris and Brussels!)

LOCATION:

On the edge of fashionable Bloomsbury and well connected by underground, it is the perfect hub from which to explore London's sights. Restaurants, pubs and shops can be found in abundance both in the building and adjacent hotel as well as the general vicinity.

The perfect base to explore all that London has to offer.

THE APARTMENT:

This apartment is on the top two floors of St Pancras Chambers. Residents also have access to hotel facilities at additional cost (inc Spa, Pool and Gym)

The apartment is over the 4th and 5th floors of the building. There are two guest double bedrooms on the 4th floor (one ensuite) and third mezzanine room above the living room which is typically used as a third bedroom (it has 2 foldout single sofa beds which can be put side by side for a double). If not needed as a third bedroom, the mezzanine has also in the past been used as a reading room or as a kids play area (we have plenty of board games and puzzles).

We have 2 further foldout mattresses and one travel cot available on request. These can be placed in either bedroom.

The 5th floor area is an open plan Kitchen/Living Room.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES

Check-in is typically any time after 4pm and Check-out strictly by 10am. I will certainly try to be flexible and it depends very much on how tight the turnaround is between your booking and the ones before and after. If your needs require an early check-in for example, I have often accommodated the needs of the tenants where possible but this must be by prior arrangement so please email me about your needs and I will try my best to accommodate.

Please remember, this is not a business. We are welcoming you into our own home. While we use it ourselves when we are in London, we have started to make it available when we are not! Please treat it as you would your own.

We have had some wonderful people stay here since we started making our apartment available and we would like to keep up that record. When you contact us, please tell us something about yourself, and your plans in London. Empty booking requests will be ignored.

MINIMUM BOOKING REQUIREMENTS:

Please note that our standard booking period is a minimum of three days. However, in shoulder season periods, we do accept 2 night bookings but with a 20% surcharge. Thanks for your understanding.

It is a great location from which to see the city, and the building itself is stunning. It is a very safe building, too. We loved the 24/7 coverage at the front desk. The apartment is really comfortable, with a lot more space than I expected. Two large bathrooms and two large bedrooms were a happy surprise! The loft area was nice for sleeping too. The kitchen had everything we needed for the bit of cooking we did, and best of all, it has a FANTASTIC supply of coffee and tea! The family games were fun to play when we were in for the night. Thanks so much for your thoughtful attention to detail, Yaz! We definitely highly recommend this apartment!

Location, Location, Location

We stayed in this beautiful unit in August 2016 for a small international family gathering. Its location is unbeatable, providing very easy access to all of London and some out of town day trips. The building is a work of art. The front desk staff is very helpful. The owner Yaz and his partner are very quick to return messages. The King's Cross area is very lively during the summer. We enjoyed early morning runs/walks by the Regent's Canal. All in all, an excellent choice and we hope to return for future London trips. Thank you!

Amazing. Best accommodation of our holiday

The property was inspiring. Very clean, amazing design, historical, excellent location, spacious, fantastic amenities. Highly recommend. Book ASAP, it was best accommodation in our 6 week family holiday.

Excellent host and a stress-free stay

We rented this apartment for two nights over a Bank Holiday weekend and the owners could not have been more helpful.

Upon arrival the gentlemen on reception were very helpful and over the weekend became familiar, friendly faces. The location could not have been better, with great transport links and a number of grocery shops nearby. As we were a large group, Yaz had arranged for the spare beds to be made up for our arrival, which allowed us to start enjoying the property straight away. He also gave us some useful information about the spa in the hotel - this along with the detailed information folder helped us greatly. The apartment was really clean and comfortable and I would certainly visit again.

Perfect in every way!

This apartment has it all. Firstly, Yaz the owner is contactable - if needed - and access is easy, backed up with 24hr concierge. The apartment is very well appointed with all appliances. There are pantry supplies to get you started inc fresh fruit, rooms are spacious, beds are comfy with quality linen and the two bathrooms supply lovely hot water and toiletries.

St Pancras a terrific train hub will take you anywhere underground or overground and its easy to pop back home with shopping bags or put your feet up before heading out to see more sights. Its so peaceful indoors yet just a few steps away you will find Pubs, Shops, Restaurants etc and of course transport. Our family have stayed here before and the standard is always consistent - its hard to look further after experiencing apartment 521! Thanks Yaz.

Fantastic!

We loved our stay at St Pancreas. The location was fantastic. Central to everything and easy to come and go from. The hotel concierge was extremely helpful in guiding us in whatever direction we were headed. The staff at the front desk was wonderfully polite and helpful as well.

We loved the unit. It was a comfortable, clean, great place to come him to after a long day of playing tourist. There are some wonderful Restaurants very close by , so getting a tasty dinner was always in our reach.

Yaz was very responsive with any of my concerns.

Overall I would highly recommend this flat to anyone looking to stay in London.

5 star and perfect

This apartment is just ideal for anyone taking a break in London . Great location in a stunning building and immaculately presented - it ticked every box.There is nothing that the hosts haven't thought of. The beds were so comfortable - even the convert able beds on the mezzanine scored 10/10 . We travelled by train to Euston and within 10 minutes of arrival were settled in the apartment with a fresh coffee! The tassimo was a lovely touch . Yaz was a great host and very accommodating regarding checking in and out and prompt to answer my pre holiday queries. He even rang from his own holiday in New York to help us sort a minor issue with the electronic skylight blinds. I call that service.

We found the Sonos music system amazing -my young nieces loved it ! The flat has everything you need for a break -we managed a game of scrabble too! Travelling around London was great with Uber taxis and very reasonable . We had my mother in a wheelchair so this was easier as we got 6 in a taxi and had door to door service ! Found top class kebab restaurant "Le Bab "in Kingly Court off Regent St. Great food ,top service and very reasonably priced .

We will certainly be back and recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a family break .
