Experience New Orleans in an authentic 1890 home but with all the conveniences and upgrades of 2017!! Guests have full use of the "living room" with futon seating space, chairs & table; bedroom with a queen bed complete with side tables; beautiful brand-new bathroom with 5x3 subway tile walk-in shower, hand-held spray nozzle, granite counter top & copper fluer di lis sink. Front porch is perfect for sittin' and relaxing! If you get thirsty, Old Point Bar is just a couple doors down. OPB also has live music a couple nights a week,

The private bathroom is brand-new, but was designed to fit in seamlessly with the rest of the property. B2Z is clean, open and airy feeling, with a cheerful personality!

What makes this house unique

Located in a quaint New Orleans neighborhood, walking distance to many restaurants and bars, you won't need a car here! If you would like to head over the Mississippi to the CBD, Convention Center or the French Quarter, the ferry is five quick blocks away from this property and lands at Canal Street, where you can go left to the CBD, or right to the FQ and straight ahead to Harrah's. Old Point Bar, an iconic move-famous bar is just two doors down for your music pleasure and libations.

Great location. We loved the neighborhood

Easy access to ferry into New Orleans. Great bar and restaurants in the neighborhood. Susan and Jason were very quick to respond to a slight problem.

Algiers was a great location for us. The property had everything we needed.

Great little neighborhood with a definite flavor of NOLA. Easy access to the main highways to get you to main attractions. The space was very clean. Tasteful update with the bathroom. Comfy bed 😎?

Great property - love the area!

I dealt with Susan exclusively & she was great. She always answered within the hour I emailed her & was very nice. The location is good for walking around the neighborhood & getting to restaurants, bars, & the ferry but its close proximity to the Old Point Bar (3 doors down) made for slightly noisy evenings. You are staying in the front of the house, one large room with a bathroom, & there are 2 doors & 5 windows so lots of glass. If anything is loud in the street, it sounds like it's in the house. Also, the windchimes outside are nice during the day but it got really breezy at night while wee were there & they were so loud. Ear plugs took care of this & other noises. The room is clean & smells great. The bed & futons are comfortable, the decor is nice (loved the bathroom!), & you have the same amenities you'd get in most hotel rooms: microwave, coffee maker (Keurig) with a variety of coffees & teas, mini fridge, wifi, & a nice flat screen tv. The only recommendation I'd make for the property itself is an armoire or closet set up of some sort. We were in town for a wedding & had no place to hang our dress clothes.

We would stay here again & definitely recommend dealing with Susan & Jason. Thank you both for a really good experience!
