We truly enjoyed our stay at this fantastic house!! It's in a great location, walking distance to many places and you feel very safe! Richard, the owner, was always in contact with me checking in to see if we needed anything. The beds are very comfortable. We had a terrific time and would definitely stay here again!

Casa Gallardo: A house to remember in Guadalajara.
It is spacious, bright, comfortable and very well located. All the bedrooms were very cozy and clean.
It is in a nice neighbourhood not far from downtown Guadalajara.
It is surrounded by many restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, coffee shops and churches.
The neighborhood is mixed. There were few houses around the block and lots of medical, architects, law offices and small hospitals. It is very safe.
Buses to the main Cathedral and Plazas in downtown can be taken in the corner street.
Rosy who is in charge of the house, was a very big help. She answered all the questions we needed promptly and efficiently.
Richard, the owner whom we contacted first, is a very nice person. It takes three to four days to answer any queries but once in touch with him he replies promptly. It seems that he is a very busy person.
We were very happy to have rented this house and we recommend it to anybody interested.
Ideally located in the original heart of Guadalajara classic golden era neighborhood within La Minerva District. The Gallardo house is surrounded by turn of the century colonial estates and tree lined streets with hidden cafe's tucked away on almost every block. Several well known neo-modernist architects built and made their homes in this neighborhood and several buildings in the area are from the well known Mexican Architect Luis Barragan who launched the romantic mexican "regionalism" and who's style resembles that of Moorish Architecture found in southern Spain. Among one of them is the Zuno house (on Ave Guadalupe Zuno ) and many others known architectural buildings are within walking distance and give you a sense of the romantic era of a past. Nearby you will find some rare Victorian Style houses and neo classical homes as well as Baroque style homes in Colonia Americana, Colonia Moderna (visit La Mitotera Restuarant), and La Fayette neighborhood. All within walking distance.
Also nearby are the famous landmarks of Los Arcos and La Minerva which marked the original entrance into Guadalajara during the 1930's and 1940's.
I've only listed but a small fraction of things to see, there so much more to fall in love with and not to mention the music, service and the fine quality cuisine!
