I was born in Rome and I've always lived here. My parents, my husband and my son were born and live in Rome. We all love this wonderful city and we are proud to be Romans. My husband and I often go around the city as a tourist in search of new emotions, and Rome never disappoints!
Roberta purchased this Apartment in 2013
Why Roberta chose Rione XXII Prati
We have always wanted to own a house in the center of Rome and when we had the opportunity to do it we enthusiastically bought this mini apartment in the Prati district, an area that we know very well since high school. Renting it to tourists in love with Rome is a new job and an amazing opportunity to share with others the passion for our city.
What makes this Apartment unique
The apartment is small (30 square meters), but delightful: it is on the ground floor of a building from early 1900's, bright and quiet, has three beautiful arches that support the ancient ceiling we have partially unveiled and the floor has the original tiles, red and gray. We have just (2013) completely renovated it in white and azure with the help of an architect and equipped with all the modern conveniences.

Perfect location !
Excellent lication . Comfortable bed and has all you need. Close to metro. Wonderful !
Roberta offered a very warm welcome and was excellent with her pre arrival information. She organised taxi pick up for us and left tea, coffee, biscuits and other basics ready for our arrival. The apartment was perfect for the three of us and was brilliantly located very close to the Vatican with plenty of restaurants on the doorstep to choose from. Visiting at Easter time was ideal for us with the weather warm and sunny but not too hot that meant we basically walked all over Rome very easily from the apartment. Roberta also contacted us during our stay to make sure we were happy and I felt that we could contact her at any time if needed. We had a brilliant time, thank you Roberta for making it so easy for us.
Roberta and her husband are excellent hosts and their apartment gave us everything we needed to enjoy Rome. Comfortable bed, kitchen supplied with everything we need, GREAT location, and even a tv with a nice DVD selection! I would absolutely return to their apartment if I came back to Rome. When we flew in I was very sick from the plane and Roberta was very accommodating to me and checked in with me multiple times to ensure I was okay. Also was always available by text if I needed anything.
Love love loveeee the Vatican home!!!
Excellent Location, Thoughtful Hosting, Clean & well equipped accomodation
Roberta is an excellent host, very clear communication throughout the booking. There were lots of thoughtful touches to the property such as a fridge stocked with cold drinks, which was very welcome! The property is immaculately presented and in an incredible location for the Vatican and the rest of Rome. Would thoroughly recomend.
The Perfect Studio
Our family of three enjoyed this perfect room and the hospitality of Roberta and her son (who we arranged to pick us up from the airport). The room is nicely equipped with anything needed to prepare a meal and, upon arrival, Roberta had left us some drinks and fruit. The room has plenty of guidebooks to learn more about the city and DVDs to keep you entertained. If you speak English, the TV stations are limited as are the DVDs, but the room is so perfectly situated, you would much rather have a gelato down the street than sit inside anyway, right? There are plenty of places to grab a t-shirt or other souvenirs nearby, but the area is not touristy. As you exit the apartment around the corner to the right, there is a lovely cafe with delicious cappuccinos and pastries too. There is a Carrefour grocery about a block or so away and we got wine, cheese, bread and olives to enjoy at the bistro table in the room each afternoon. If it is your thing, there is a McDonalds across the street. The metro station is at the end of the block too! Everything in the apartment is new and nicely decorated. The WIFI was generally reliable, as was the hot water, and air-conditioning. Roberta was so kind to check in via email and ask if we needed anything frequently. I would definitely return tomorrow if I could. It was wonderful!
Great apartment. Great location.
We actually stayed in June 2015. When compared to the other (similarly priced) places in Rome, this is by far the most attractive and spacious Its a perfect combination of price, location and studio decor. It was our highlight of the trip to Rome b/c staying in this place makes it easy to imagine oneself living in Rome permanently.
The apartment is located in the Prati district, 400 meters from the Vatican Museums, 800 meters from St. Peter's Square and 150 meters from Ottaviano Metro Station. The area is very commercial, with many shops and restaurants for all budgets. The Trionfale Market, famous throughout the city, is just 300mt away.
