This Grand old house stands a landmark building in the Kensal Green Conservation area of Queens Park.
Eclectically and exquisitely decorated, its antique and contemporary furnishings plus modern amenities stylishly combine the 19th and 21st century making the Georgian House uniquely suited to the traditionalist and modernist in us all.
It is the quintessence of a laid-back private residence with the unique atmosphere of a bygone era. With its private courtyard access and secluded terrace the Georgian house is truly a rare London find.
Offering space and contemporary design with all the comforts of home, the Georgian house is the perfect base from which to live, relax, entertain and explore, with the freedom to come and go as you please.
Walk to the World famous Portobello market, drink mint tea in the Moroccan tea shops of Golbourne Road, feast on the retail and gourmet extravaganza that is Notting Hill, then meander home along the sweeping curves of the Grand Union Canal just in time for tea.
Its central location makes accessing any of London’s box of delights quick and painless. In London transports Zone 2, British rail and London Underground stations are three minutes walk from your door with the high-speed Heathrow Express close by.

Laura and David fell in love with the Georgian House on their return from leading a care free existence in Australia for 2 years. They have been loving restoring the exterior of the house using traditional methods, whilst working full time - Laura is a Consultant in Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics and David does high flying things in the IT world- plus bringing up their twins Evie & grace and now little Alfie. They are delighted to welcome guests to come and enjoy an exclusive and dedicated part of this magnificent house - and - love sharing their knowledge of all things London regardless of subject !!. Laura is a self confessed London addict and says - 'once you have London in your soul -you can never give it up ! - there is no greater a city !'

Lovely old house with great accommodations
This is a beautiful old house with a separate apartment for guests. The apartment is on two floors, downstairs living room and upstairs sitting room and bedroom, with a balcony overlooking a courtyard. The hosts were great, very helpful, and tolerant of my need for a cool bedroom - temp went up to 85 during the day, and this was April. There is a portable air conditioner which worked very well. The house faces a busy street, but I didn't notice any street noise at night, and living in a very quiet suburb I thought it might be noticeable, but not at all. A large grocery store is within a few blocks, and the tube stop is also close by.
Loved Our Stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed this peaceful sanctuary for our stay in London! The apartment is light-filled, artfully decorated and the accommodations perfectly comfortable. We easily took in full days of tourists' interests with its nearby access to rail transportation.
Beautiful place and owners were lovely
This is a beautiful place to stay. Clean, breautufully decorated, loaded with extras like guidebooks and oyster passes. She even had a little milk and butter in the fridge to get us started with a lovely gift basket of assorted goodies. The location is close to stores and the underground/overground. It’s straight shot to Piccadilly and around 30 minutes from leaving your door.
I would’ve given 5 stars but we struggled a bit with communication beforehand. It was unnerving getting in the plane in Salt Lake City not knowing for sure how to get into the house and what time. Check in time is 4pm but we got in at 10 am so we were trying to set up at least a luggage drop off. We had tentative times but nothing confirmed and so headed up to the house. No one here so had to hang around for a couple hours. In all fairness she was on vacation as well and had just arrived home but most of, actually all of the VRBOs that we’ve stayed in had check in info set well in advance. We did send several emails and phone messages the week before but never got ahold of anyone. It was pretty stressful.
Other than that I would highly recommend this location!
A delightful place to stay
Staying in Laura's apartment was like a home away from home. Our family of three were very comfortable and enjoyed the many quality furnishings and the beautfiul daylight that came through the upstairs living area. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful hamper Laura provided for us on arrival. Access to the apartment is independent and private, yet Laura is available and close by should anything be needed, including valuable local knowledge. Public transport is very convenient to the apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in London and staying at Laura's.
Thank you Fiona - it was a pleasure to meet you all. Hopefully if you are back in London you will stay again
What a wonderfully beautiful apartment!!
Wow the apartment really exceeded our expectations, my husband, 17 yr old son & myself spend 3 nights here in London. Perfect location with train & bus service very close. The interior was modern & very comfortable, the hosts Laura & David where exceptional with advice on what was worth doing & seeing, even had a gift basket with lots of goodies including wine & chocolates. I would most definitely stay again.
Very elegant and a delightful place to stay in London
This is a seriously beautiful apartment and very convenient location in London. We just loved it and can't recommend it highly enough. Bright and airy thanks to high ceilings upstairs, compact downstairs and tastefully furnished. Kensal green tube station a short walk away, on the Bakerloo line, the most convenient for so many top London attractions. Thanks Laura for providing such a lovely place to stay.
