INSIDE THE CONDO
From the condo’s parking lot, make your way up the stairs to the third floor unit (no elevator), taking in the fragrant pine trees and mountain views. Once on the top floor the condo door opens into the condo’s foyer area with a closet, coat hooks and a bench for you to comfortably remove your gear. Hang skis and snowboards inside your private storage closet off the spacious patio that overlooks the mountains.
Hardwood floors throughout the main living area create a cozy lodge feel and the open floor plan allows for space for everyone. Modern and updated, the kitchen has full-size appliances including a convection oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, plus lots of cabinet space and a center island where you can gather to discuss the day's exciting events. Dine around the dining table that seats four, but expands to a larger table to seat more.
Warm up with a mug of hot chocolate around the living room’s gas fireplace and raised hearth. Catch up on your favorite TV shows on the flat-screen TV with DVD player and cable. Wifi is also included.
Rest up for another day on the slopes in the master bedroom with queen bed and lots of natural light from the window that faces a lovely wooded area. The guest bedroom also offers a full bed with a twin bunk. Both rooms have ample storage in the closets and dressers. Any clothes that need to be cleaned during your stay can quickly and easily be washed in the stackable washer/dryer in the hallway.
In the bathroom, enjoy warming your toes when you step out of the bath or shower onto the heated tile floor.
Vail ski lifts are within a 10-minute drive or bus ride, putting you right in the middle of some of the best skiing in the country. Visit the Vail Nordic Center (6 minutes) with numerous cross-country and snowshoeing trails. Two unassigned parking spaces are included with the condo adjacent to the stair towers.
In the warmer months, check out the scenic East Vail hiking trails just minutes from the condo. Bighorn Creek, Booth Creek, Deluge Lake, Gore Creek and Pitkin Creek are some of the most popular and picturesque. There is also great fishing, biking and golf opportunities close by. Make sure to take advantage of the many festivals and events in the town of Vail winter, summer, spring and fall!
Give the cook a break and take the free bus into Vail Village, full of amazing restaurants and fun bars. The village is also home to the Colorado Ski and Snowboard Museum, a fun way to learn more about this area’s biggest draw.
