A very cosy, minimalistic and affordable homestay style apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, right in the centre of Kuala Lumpur.
The apartment: is located in an apartment complex, is well maintained, cleaned and has a lush jungle surrounding it so you won't even notice the nearby rush sounds of the city. We have 3 bedrooms, and this listing is for the master room. Comes with an en-suite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, more than enough storage for 2 travellers, a cosy shared living room, diner and kitchen. The house also has an balcony where you can chill and relax, watch the massive rains of Kuala Lumpur, or just read.
Amenities: Your room comes with towels, hot water, shampoo, toothbrush, shower gel. The kitchen is equipped for basic cooking, and a supermarket is only 10-15m walk away (or a $0.6 Uber ride). You can use the washing machine from the back balcony for your laundry, however a dryer is not very common in the heat of KL, so I suggest hanging your clothes on the provided hanger instead and give it a couple hours :) Iron and ironing board is also provided. The apartment complex also has a well maintained pool with WiFi and sun beds if you just wanna stay in and relax at home.
Location and surroundings: We're just 5 minutes walk from the main LRT (Bangsar LRT) station that takes you to the KL Twin Towers as well as KL Sentral (central transport hub of the city), and just 10 minutes walk away from a major shopping centre with a whole 'village' around it, filled with restaurants, bars, dessert spots, coffee shops, spas, etc. We're a central expat neighbourhood (Bangsar), so ride hailing is easy and we suggest Uber or Grab - never take a regular cab unless you're looking to get scammed.
A few home rules: as is common in Asia, we have a strict no shoes policy in the house. As you enter, we ask kindly to leave your shoes on the shoe rack. Same goes for smoking inside the apartment, including the balcony. If you're travelling with pets, please message us so we can check if it's possible to have them as it's a shared apartment and we should ask the other guests as well. No parties or gatherings in the house, but feel free to book a slot of barbecue evening by the pool with the building admins and invite friends over.
And lastly: this is our home, even we travel a lot. We ask you to make yourself at home, and in case you stay longer than a week or two, we also ask you to include cleaning up after yourself as it's also your home now. We have all you need, a set of change sheets while your laundry is drying, a vacuum cleaner for weekly dust ups and a friendly mop as well. Please don't forget to empty the fridge of your food when you leave. Thank you :)
