Great Resort to stay at! This unit "307" needs some maintenance done on it. We enjoyed our stay here

  • 4 of 5

Room 307 needs maintenance done on a few things. The resort itself was great though! Love the beach!

Not clean!

  • 4 of 5

The room was not clean upon our arrival. The showers had mold in them, the floors had hair and dirt. The toilet wobbles like it is going to fall. The carpet in the bedrooms was stained and dirty. We enjoyed Treasure Island overall, next time we stay there we will book directly through the resort. Friends and family that booked through TI has clean rooms and no problems at all. We went to Resort Destinations to tell them about the room and they were not very helpful. They did end up refunding us a nights stay. We were able to send pictures to the owners of the condo through TI. If I owned a property like this I would want to know that it was being maintained the way it should be.

Not Clean.....Booking office (Resort Destinations) was unconcerned

  • 1 of 5

Called when we arrived about mold in bathroom, nasty rug/carpet etc. Was told they would send someone to clean. Never showed up. Cleaned up our self best we could. Called and talked to the booking office which was Resort Destinations and the lady was unconcerned and did not seem to care. The bathroom fans did not work and maintenance man said they were not replacing them due to the cost. Toilet was not bolted to the floor correctly and hit the wall each time. You walked across the floor after showering and your feet were black. Sand everywhere. Felt that we spent a lot of money to stay there and they didn't care that it was dirty. Told her we would not stay there again and all she had to say was OK. I asked if there was anyone else I could speak with and she said no she was the only one. It's really sad because this is over all a nice Condo establishment......we have stayed in other units managed by other booking company and did not have this issue.

Treasure Island as a whole is nice

  • 4 of 5

The room (307) needs a lot of updating. The carpet was stained and just looked plain dirty. The master toilet was wobbly. Needs painted (Doors and walls). The couch was new so that was a plus. The patio furniture was in bad shape and looked like it was 30 years old.
