Rustic one-of-a-kind cabin located just around the corner from the Henry's Fork of the Snake River in Island Park. 35 minutes to Yellowstone National Park, Minutes to Henry's Lake, Island Park Reservoir and Hebgen Lake. Cabin is nicknamed "The Goose" because of it's proximity to a former amusement park in the late 60's that was called Mother Goose Land. One of the areas most unique and whimsical cabins and sure to be a good place to hang your hat at the end of a day of adventure.
Cabin is located on a volcano that last blew it's top 2.1 million years ago. Scientist think it will be at least another 10,000 + years before it happens again. Because of this, the ground water that comes from the well is high in iron and minerals, so best to drink bottled water, but washing and brushing your teeth with it is just fine. You can drink it too, but it tastes like a gym drinking fountain from the 40's.
