About Hana Beaman
I live in Bellingham year round but frequently make the trip up to Mt Baker and surrounding areas to hike, bike, ski tour and everything else there is to do in the summer or play in the amazing snow in the winters. Each time I head home, I leave more in love with this area. I hope during your visit you find a special connection to this area as well!

Cozy ski-weekend nest close to Glacier and Mt Baker--highly recommend it.
Very comfortable for 6 people. Well supplied with all the essentials. Clear communication about how to get there, etc. Only drawback was the lack of luxuries like a hot tub or a gas grill--but we really didn't miss them. We were very happy to host out of town friends there--and I'm sure they will be back.
Perfect, spacious home base for mountain getaway
My group of 6 stayed here for a long ski and snowshoe weekend around Mount Baker. The house exceeded our expectations! It is clean, bright, modern, well-heated, and surprisingly spacious. The open floorplan with the well-stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare breakfast and dinner while socializing with everyone in the living room. We especially enjoyed the wood stove, though the electric heat was plenty even during a snowy cold snap. The house also comes stocked with board games and helpful local recommendations, and the wi-fi worked great. I would highly recommend, and won't hesitate to inquire here first on future trips to Mt. Baker.
Stayed in this cozy cottage for a weekend while skiing at Mount Baker. The cottage was neat, clean, well furnished, and Hana was great to work with. Even though it is only 982 sq ft it is laid out well and feels much bigger. It accommodated six adults with ease. - Would go back in a heartbeat.
It's even better than the photos!
Hana's house is wonderful - open and roomy with comfortable beds for 6 people. We (adult son, daughter, husband and I) stayed for 4 nights in early January while skiing at Mt. Baker. It's about 45 minutes from Bellingham and 30-40 minutes from the ski resort. The kitchen is very functional, especially after I found the light above the stove. We did our grocery shopping in Bellingham on our way. The wood stove is very effective at warming up the whole house. Family loved the built-in corner seating for the dining table. TV system and internet worked great. There is no cell service in the area (until about 10 minutes from the ski resort) but connected to the house wifi, we were able to use our cell phones for texting. We would definitely stay here again. Beautiful area - would imagine it's lovely in all seasons. There is access to a trail, not far from the house, to walk down to the river, which we did right after checking out.
Adorable, convenient to Mt Baker, perfect for a small group
We had a lovely time cooking together and unwinding in this cabin between snow adventures! The home has all the amenities you need, and slept six very comfortably. Thanks for hosting us!
Superb retreat in the woods by Mt. Baker
The house is very modern and close to Mt. Baker (and to the town of Glacier). It has all the comforts of home, with a well-stocked kitchen and comfy furnishings, and is nestled in a wooded community close to the Ranger Station of the National Forest. You can drive four miles into Glacier for an excellent bakery, as well as a great Italian restaurant. The only problem--which the owner couldn't control--was the biting flies. They made it impossible to hike some of the popular trails we wanted to try. Oh well, better luck next time!
