About Donna Ensley
This home sits on 10 acres and backs up to the national forest. The original owners decided to downsize so 3 neighbors pitched in together to purchase the house and acreage to preserve the natural beauty of the land and keep it from being developed. We hope to find someone who is interested in living on this beautiful property, in the mean time In order to pay the mortgage we are renting it out as a vacation rental and are anxious to share this amazing place with others until the new owner is discovered.

Why Donna Ensley chose Arden
This land is beautiful. It has a creek flowing through the lower portion and is surrounded by privately held land and the national forest. The home sits on a knoll and is secluded except for the deer and turkeys that frequent the area. Pristine, quiet, tranquil, private are words that best describe this property. All the beds are new and the home has been furnished with your vacation in mind. We aim to have a space for you to gather and play games, talk, eat, hike, watch TV or read and relax as you stay in the midst of God's perfect creation.

The cabin and setting were beautiful!
We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was perfect for our family of four. We all loved the hiking trails right outside our doors and the inside with its huge windows was perfect for chilly mornings. The cabin was spotless and tastefully decorated. It felt remote but was within 10 minutes of major grocery stores and about 15-20 minutes to Asheville. Donna was responsive to my questions and she and Curtis stopped by on horseback to give my daughters a chance to meet their horses. We didn’t have a chance to watch tv, but the WiFi was great which felt particularly nice because it was often quite spotty when we were out and about.
Great place to stay while in Asheville
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was impeccably clean and well stocked with the basic necessities. We had some much cooler than normal weather during out visit, and we really enjoyed having a nice wood burning fireplace to enjoy during our stay. The property itself is beautiful and has a short hiking trail right on site. The owners had a welcome note and gift basket which was a nice personal touch. Highly recommended!
Awesome property, very clean & comfortable. Really enjoy our stay. We will be back!
Amazing house with impressive views in a private setting
We celebrated the New Year with our friends in this superb house. I was impressed by the welcoming basket and sign left by our host Donna ,before our arrival. She came to see us immediately after our arrival, making sure we had everything we needed. The house is gorgeous, very spacious living area with huge windows looking over the mountain area. We were five adults and two little kids, plenty of space for all of us. The house is in an immaculate condition, furnished very nicely and equipped with everything you'd need. All new linens, plenty of new towels, and a fully equipped kitchen. We really enjoy catching up with friends around the fire place in the living room. We had an amazing stay and felt like home! Can't wait to be back! Thank you for your hospitality!
We enjoyed sharing this home with Daniela and her friends. They were great guests and left everything in wonderful order. We had an unusual cold snap that caused icing on the roads New Year's Eve. I was glad to learn they stayed in and enjoyed the fireplace and their time with great friends.
Wonderful hosts and incredible property. Would definitely recommend.
My family had a wonderful Christmas at this beautiful home.
Donna went out of her way to welcome us with a gift basket and Christmas lights. The location is close enough to everything fun in Asheville but the property is private and beautiful! We will definitely be back!
Centrally located between Asheville and Hendersonville, NC, we are just minutes from the new Sierra Nevada brewery, the Biltmore Estate, downtown shopping, hiking and mountain biking. This area is growing in popularity and so are the fun things to do. Favorites include the Lazoom tour, the Brews Cruze and outdoor music festivals.
