Perfect for our family vacation
Recently renovated and well done. This property was perfect for our family and the event that brought us to Morehead City. We came for the Seafood Festival, but knew we wanted to do more including a quick trip to Oriental (to get the kids a short Ferry ride & continue a mini-tradition of eating at The Silos), a day at Fort Macon and Beach, neighborhood bike rides and multiple trips to Beaufort. This home is located in a great neighborhood with a public park and small beach on Bogue Sound that is a short walk or bike ride away (basically a block away). Even though the house is not directly on Bogue Sound, it has a great view to the water as you drive down Rochelle Dr that really makes for a great setting. We have been to coastal spots up and down the North and South Carolina coasts and this is the first time we stayed in a single family house rather than a hotel or condo and, for us, this is the way to go.
